They rejected my application with an email stating I’m not eligible. I think its a generic email but don’t understand on what grounds they rejected.
I hold Hdfc diners black with 5L limit and have 850+ CIBIL score. Always pay on time

You did go through VKyc right? Rejection mail came within a day?
The lady assisting me before vkyc was very particular about few things, which I felt were very nominal.
eg.
* make sure the payslip size is below 2MB
* make sure you tell all the correct answers as you told me, repeated all the answers.
* make sure you sign on a clear white paper and have paper pen ready.
etc..
I was feeling a bit irritated, so much handholding.
But now I understand, maybe credit rating and all isn’t at all the reason for rejection, maybe some minor unrelated thing did not match for you bro. Maybe mine will get rejected too, who knows.
for example they took my office email, maybe they will feel its not my office’s domain, who knows 
For addon card in ICICI..
The addon card holder needs an ICICI account?
Or..it’s just like sbi which gives to anyone?
