The ticket price for visiting the Taj Mahal is Rs 50 for Indians and Rs 1100 for foreigners but on the special occasion of International Women's Day 2024, entry for all women will be free.
Qutab Minar, located in Delhi, India, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the tallest brick minarets in the world. Built-in the early 13th century, it stands 73 meters (240 feet) tall and is a remarkable example of Indo-Islamic architecture, featuring intricate carvings and verses from the Quran. In Qutub Minar, the entry fee for Indians is 35 to 40 rupees per person. Additionally, foreigners are charged 500 rupees. However, on International Women's Day, entry to Qutub Minar is free for all women.

Probably they don't get much women interested in archeology due to restrictions on camera (reels and shorts).
I doubt that is the case. I have been to all the places on a non-holiday weekday in the past year and women were outnumbering the men.
