No bro they wouldnt thats their marketing works get an extra large phone then get an extra small phone and say its a luxury
Maybe they could market their damn brand to interested people, but it really doesn’t make sense to go for such phone.
If i had 40,000 Rs. , i would have bought RN3 2GB Variant for me, and would have donated rest to a needy person.
I think Apple is for working professionals who care their sensitive and confidential data. Apple provides good security and their iOS is error free, thats good for them but we geeks should buy low segment phones and we have good amount of options available now, why purchase a 4 inch choomu phone for Rs.40,000

Dream on dude. There are still lot of people who are comfortable with smaller screen <4.5" (including me). This is a beast device in 4" size.
Apple sold more than 30 Million 4" phones in 2015 so there is still a relevant market for this size.

Maruti had sold millions of their 800cc model back in 2000, that doesn’t mean they will sell the same now. There might be some Apple fans but selling 30 Million globally is just impossible…
Why do most iPhone threads turn into discussion threads where people start justifying whether iphones costing is justified or not.
I am not saying that you should spend this much and buy this phone but you don’t have loose your temper and start giving all available alternates. While an iPhone might be expensive to most of us, even a 10,000 phone might be expensive to many. Its not just the mobile sector where such things happen, an Audi car would cost double as compared to a car with same specs. People spend lakhs just to have a gold or diamond ring. But thats justified in their view and might not be in yours.
No matter how much we bash apple for overpricing, it is people from the society itself that have made apple a success.
I also think that other brands too would have priced their phones higher if they could ensure that people would buy them at that price.
Samsung entered market as the game changer but now none of the Samsung flagships are priced lesser than 50k.
Mi too priced the new phone at 25K. Following Samsung’s footsteps?
P.S. – i myself ask my brother to get me an iPhone from abroad. I cannot afford to pay the prices they have set here but then turning any discussion about iPhone into what it doesnt not have and that the prices are way so high is also not the way to go.
Its like
person 1 – Apple clicks good photos
Response – Apple is overpriced and doesn’t have wireless charging
person 2 – apple has a good and secure os
response – you cant transfer files via Bluetooth and is overpriced
person 3 – i am happy that my 3 year old phone is still getting os updates
response – its expensive and you have to transfer songs via iTunes
Not looking to start a fight.
Peace
