Niyo global by DCB also available with the same benefit

2-3 yrs back I got Niyo Global Card (same concept at that time, LTF, zero fx rate etc). It was issued with DCB Bank that time.
After 1 yr or so, they senta notice that will start charging annual debit card fees… had to cancel.
So, suggest all, pls be careful and be sure. Don’t just go for this unless planned usage in next few months

thx bro. How is this better than Fi debit card ?
maxdealer wrote:thx bro. How is this better than Fi debit card ?
Fi
1. Visa Platinum Debit Card
2. ROI is 2.5% (1.5% below RBI Repo Rates) – Ref https://www.federalbank.co.in/saving...te
3. No lounge access
Since all the variants being discussed ( Fi, NiyoX, Niyo DCB ) are 0-Bal accounts, it is of less concern to compare ROI
Read somewhere on DD that effective April 22, even Jupiter is giving 0-Forex markup..
can we take this card and then extract the 5000 Rs to a different ac, and run this like a zero balance ac, and still enjoy all the benefits of this card?

Lucky you. We had like 3 cards in the family and we had overseas travel plan for all.
But then Covid happened and all plans were cancelled. And then after few months got this SMS/email for charges.
Closed all!

If I withdraw from a foreign ATM while overseas, will the bank that owns the ATM charge a withdrawal fee?
I have sb accounts in both dcb and equitas.
i dont need any forex cards.iam done with foreign travels.
compared to axis, inusind ,kotak ,i use DCB for forex remittance to my kid in europe. cheaper than even transfer WISE..
DCB single upfront ’all in price" with zero charges to beneficiary at the receiving european bank.
transferwise is almost instant (30 minutes) but DCB takes up to 5-6 hours.
refer to the above query some atms charge 5-10 euro/dollars per Cash withdrawl transactions,

I generally look up banks which do not charge a withdrawal fee, a few always exist. I draw money in atms at airport after arrival. I have not faced a situations where the zero-withdrawal fee bank did not have an atm at the airport.
Is there free access to international lounge with this card ?
Received the card today. It is saying Rs 499 second year onwards. What the hell?
As per calculation of 76.09122391 * 24.4 = 1856.6258634, I was charged 1856.63 INR 😊
Please check card fees before proceeding with account creation. So far it is LTF.
There are other criteria for eligibility. Interested dimers do notice.
