240-256 gb 2.5 inch SSDs with 3 year warranty rates are 1300-1500 in local market and even few 5 year warranty local SSDs available at 1700 rs only in Chandigarh, don't know about other cities but u should check local market first

It is for 5 year warranty

Maybe it is lowest online, but here in local market rates are cheaper than this price..search for kudrat infotech sector 34 chandigarh and him computech sector 22 chandigarh, call them on given numbers and confirm the rates yourself

Bought crucial Bx ₹240 gb for ₹1400 effectively today only & now I am having second thoughts 😝

If you are talking about those 5 years warranty EVM ssd then spending 200-300 more to get 3 years warranty crucial ssd is always better.

No it doesn't have it also why are you even considering this when crucial Bx 240gb is available for ₹1400.

its a five year old laptop

with 5400 rpm hdd and ddr3 4gb

i am upgrading it with one more 4gb stick and replacing hdd with mx
it will be used for browsing mostly

If the difference with dram & dramless version is within/around 1k then always prefer dram ssd. Crucial MX500 & samsung 860/870 evo are the only dram sata ssd worth buying in India.
