Virtual credit card works? Is a Netflix id mapped to telephone number or.credit card or something else. Asking as I would like to take advantage of new user offers multiple times 
Netflix monitors a lots of things, credit cards, IP addresses, devices, maybe few other things. Email ids and phone numbers are just the basic. You may or may not keep creating free accounts always. Netflix is one of the largest in their business and have obviously invested in top of the line systems to understand these things. India is relatively new market for them, so when initially they launched, they were just monitoring and collecting data. You can call it behavior analysis. They understood Indians need things for cheap, so they launched mobile only plans for 199. They found people abusing their free trials, so they have put a nominal charge of Rs5.
Already in US, they have started banning people from netflix for abusing their service. No matter how many numbers you change or ids you create, they will find out and not allow you to create account.
To give you a context, OLA and Uber initially gave lot of offers for free rides and referrals. What do you see now? It’s the result of people abusing their services. A fraction of the people did that and now every genuine user is suffering.
You can say, not my problem and look away. But it’s going to come and bite you in some other way. So, just be honest and use any genuine offers. But try not to abuse. PEACE.

Am I the only one who uses torrents n doesn’t care about prime n Netflix? I have prime but i still torrent to serve the torrent union…
It’s all about the experience for me. I mostly use torrent sites to download the latest shows but when you use the app, especially the Netflix app, the experience is so much better. Just to give you an example, if I’ve a phone, a tablet and a laptop, I can simply resume watching from where I left off on any of the three devices. So if I was traveling and I watched half of an episode on my phone, I can just continue from where I left off on my laptop or iPad. There’s no need to copy things from one device to the other. Also the interface of the app is very good IMO. Things like these improve the user experience. Think of it as going to a local movie theater vs going to a multiplex. Even though they both show the same movie, the experience vastly differs
