Not sure. I used third party type c cable for my samsung s10 lite and later the charging port gets damaged which cost me Rs 1500 and later I purchased original samsung cable worth rs.599

Never faced any issues (as in handset damages) with 3rd party cables, whether its Type C / Lightning or Micro-USB.
Just that sooner or later they stopped working or got damaged (cables/cable connectors).
