Jio sim will only work in 4G handsets. If you want to use voice calling facility then you need to have VoLTE enabled handset else for data only any 4G handset can be used.
Redmi note 2 is 3G only hence it wont show any network.

You might need to check in network settings if network type selected is 4G/LTE or not.

If you are using two sims then take ithe other one out. Put only Jio sim in primary slot. Then boot the phone. The phone will find the network. You can put the second sim inside after this. Both will work.

same happens with me especially with Amazon India. This mostly happens when I am connected using WiFi Hotspot on my laptop. The speed is close to 30 Mbps but the way some website loads it feels like I am using a 2G connection. Sometimes, the same happens with youtube video as well. I was surprised to see youtube video buffering at 360p resolution on a 4G connection,

try vpn to mask site, then see speed.

apply google dns (8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4)… after that it will open at rocket speed without any issues…
So I bought the sim on Saturday. (Generated code with nexus 6p). when yesterday I put the sim on the phone, there was no tower, only emergency calling. today I put it back again. it’s showing full tower + jio 4g logo. but that’s it. unable to make call or register with the app. how do I activate it? is it normal?

call 1977 if ur phn is volte supported If not use JIO JOIN
Lets make it very clear… U cn use anybody’s coupn u will get a sim(note: all Rdigital stores wont provide u sim only on coupn) with 2gb data-100min-100sms on tele verification. ( plan name is prepaid FRC) to get unlimited u need to have the previous version of my jio.
Try putting the sim into the phone frm which the coupn ws generated. call 1977>pack recharge (prepaid FRC) > uninstall every single app of JIO. > restart the phone> Install all the apps again Except My jio. After Installation install the previous MyJIO. > data off> open my jio app> u will see get jio sim option again> click on dat> turn on data> it will shown ur coupon and a redeemed sign> scroll down u will see submit> click dat> and u r done> a sms will come plan activated ( Prepaid plan). If u dnt get that sms den no unlimited for u.

Showing Redeemed?? Den uninstall the my jio n install it once again. Dnt touch any other app. Restart the phone once after uninstalling
