Competion is good for consumer until monopoly, govt should never let any entity to monopolize.
The govt should stop misuse of power in the market place. Though Amazon and Flipkart are mere platforms on paper, they are much more than that as we all know. Imagine a day with no retail small shops in the neighborhood. Amazon and Flipkart can make that happen over next few decades unless it is fixed today. They are already killing small online shops by predatory practice sell or perish approach. This is not limited to online platforms, same is true for offline retail business as well.

Also, @adrishya in one of my/our family’s account… they keep luring us to try 14 day “free trial for you” for Amazon Prime… whenever cart checkout is less than 499₹ rupees (for Amazon fulfilled items).
This is despite all that jazz about RBI changing renewal rules for credit card payments and Amazon stopping free trials of Prime https://www.desidime.com/amp/discussions/amazon...
So I think, even if not a flat/direct 500₹ cashback or co-branded offer, there still might be “some” offer on Amazon Videos/ Prime renewal or new user/ first time subscribers.
