Right now, chips with a size of 3 to 5 nm are becoming more common, which means they are more efficient and use less power.
So, if you have 7nm chip with your mobile, it might use little more battery than 4nm chip. Waiting for a 3 or 4nm chip is smart because they perform better and save battery.
For example, In future less expensive phones will have the SD 4 gen 2 chip, medium-priced phones will use the SD 7 gen 2 and 3, and high-end phones will feature the SD 8 gen 3 chip.
The SD 8 Gen3 chip is even faster than the expensive Apple M2 chip.
