It seems you need to tweak white balance of your camera. If you are unable to do so, try different camera app.

I tried with different camera app same problem.

ALL WORKING FINE………
CAMERA WORKING FINE……..

bought 2 phones for my cousin and my friend havn’t opened and tested till i saw some comments on camera quality.
So i unboxed updated and used google camera app. looks like both the phone have some weird camera issue camera showing some artifacts (some kind on white patches) on walls which are not present and it happening mostly in low lit(not dark) conditions.
looks like Rn3 got some post processing issue related with the images that low lit and in which flash is being used.
i havn’t faced the issue in well lit condition . i observed the same thing in both of my phones. one more thing there is definitely more amount of yellow tone in almost every photo. there is an observable lag while capturing photos (in low light) .overall i can say not good camera quality but artifacts issue may be resolved with an update but very less chance of update which can improve camera quality.

Check if charger charges the phone, when i tried i found it was not charging my phone and when i disconnect the charger it used to switch off.

So, amazon seems to be sending refurb devices for both new/replaced phones
Two weeks back i got a refurb device [Marks of usage near micro-usb and Paint being chipped off at the top and bottom edges]
My friend ordered a 32gb gold redmi note 3 and he got a refurb device too [Same old March Manufacturing date]

I think Xiaomi is the culprit here, they seem to be performing some basic QC on the returned mobiles, repacking them and selling them via their portal mi.com and also issuing the same re-packaged stock to Amazon
This is highly expected from a chinese company as there will be some dis-advantages too for the low price, which would’ve never happened in the case of samsung/apple

And regarding the camera issue, its common
everyone is having some tint issues and using a third party camera app like google camera might solve this?

Sorry i was mentioning in bad light condition its slow in focusing (focusing is not fast enough) and clicking photo. in good light condition its very quick ..

Actually it has happened with samsung too.

My sister got a used looking J5.But since it was bought at an offline store,it was replaced then and there.

Be it Samsung or MI,everyone tries to cheat us.

My damaged Note 3 was from april 2016 batch too :O so either they took a returned one from march and repackaged it as april,or they never sent this phone through QC

Reboot your device
Put your SIM Tray back
Turn ON data.

AND RUN ALL THE TEST IN LIST

So far I was rooting my phone so that I can uninstall bloatware and use Link2SD to move system and user app to SD card.

Now I have 32GB RN3. There does not seem to be any bloatware. What can be the reason to root this phone ?

The wet and dry pad are used when you make a mistake while applying the tempered glass, you can clean your scared a** from wet pad and than from dry pad, it will give you confidence enough to apply the tempered glass again.

From spec point of view RN3 is better.
But if you want to use two SIMs then RN3 16GB will not give you sufficient sotrage (32GB will do so). In that case you may go for 1S. But beware 1S is a hot plate.

Instead of 1S you may consider Lenovo k4 Note.
