If you decide to unlock the bootloader, after you get the unlocking msg DO NOT try to unlock for atleast a week. I kept trying every day and failed. Only after waiting for 1 more week I finally was able to unlock the bootloader.

i am using 2G and 4G sim card in Redmi Note 4 (64gb variant). I am on latest official MIUI v8.1.15.0 . The problem is that 2G sim card is loosing signal frequently, despite of trying it on both the trays. There was no problem in Redmi 3s Prime.
