Sharing my recent (last week) experience with boAt smart watch which I ordered as a gift for 6 year old kid. 

boAt Wave Lite Smart Watch is what it was. I always gifted Amazfit smart watches cause those were of good quality.

I chose boAt this time looking at the hype around the brand. To my surprise the watch looked like a cheap replica of Chinese watch. You could see that the body was painted. Finish was bad. 

I called up Amazon support and got it returned and bought Redmi Watch 2 Lite. As expected, top notch quality. Fit and finish is A++ so is the quality of material. Yes paid more for Redmi but its totally worth. Redmi's MRP is 7999/- while boAt's MRP is 6999/- boAt does not even work 500/-!!!
