Cashify guy came to collect my old S20 at 11:15 pm last night. Took nearly 45 mins. Due to flickering white lines on the display (or generally any problem with the display) the value of the phone itself was downgraded to Rs 200. Samsung site had quoted over Rs 14k originally but they assume the phone to be in perfect condition.
To my surprise, Samsung had included some sort of an upgrade bonus/incentive for exchange despite making no mention of it on the corporate website. That's what got me the Rs 5400. I did not put that code. It came automatically in the Cashify link that was generated after the new phone is delivered. I opted for Amazon Pay voucher as the payment mode instead of UPI / Bank Transfer which gives an extra 4%. Thus, I got Rs 5820 for my old S20. I was expecting Rs 1200 or so or even a flat out rejection for exchange.

To answer your specific questions, once they mark the display as having lines or discolouration issues, the phone's value goes down to junk level (Rs 200). Now even if they put physical damage, dent it will make no difference. However, if your display is fine then every dent will cause some reduction in price.

Samsung only lets you enter the IMEI number of the old phone at the time of placing the order of the new phone. It does not let you specify the condition or accessories. By default, Cashify assumes you will offer the charger and mobile box. I never give the charger because Cashify effectively gives you just a few hundred rupees for that charger. You can always decline and they simply deduct those few hundred rupees from the exchange value. They are not fussy about the box. It will reduce the value though somewhat.
