Good move. Paytm cashing this opportunity like anything. Hope more and more offline stores start accepting paytm.

For eg. Small-scale Kirana store should start accepting paytm and pass this bank surcharge to customers. Most of the customers would happily pay this additional 1.01% given the current scenario.

so the cashback model life freecharge is definitely not worth it. But even with 1% cashback model will fail ultimately but that’s not the way paytm wants to behave I believe. And considering other wallets 1% is still bearable. No other wallet is giving credit of 50k in a day without any lockin.
