Most processed junk like soft drinks are available now. I wish sometimes that I could order for my neighbors and relatives.

And sometimes – just sometimes – I also wish I ran a non-profit grocery shop… to offer all these items with no margin. For sure if I ever become the Prime Minister of this nation, I would make groceries free for all.

Haha! That’s the problem. If we teach a man to fish, they turn into a businessman. And ultimately, it comes down to finance. A free world with no money-to-product exchange is a chaotic world. One that I would implement if I ever had the power because…

Actually the written confirmation holds no value. They would straight away say the agent who informed you gave you wrong info and that is not what the policy says. You would have to speak to 2-3 supervisors to get a resolution. Whatever amazon CC says is not sacrosanct these days

How do they deliver in pantry?? Do they have different boxes? I purchased prime membership so am I entitled to get free shipping for pantry also?

I know it’s confusing. But the use of “alone” there is to signify the fact that the cashback is given on a single (/first) order of 1K/2K/3K, i.e. you can’t place multiple orders and be eligible for cashback on the cumulative amount.

There is section for rice in pantry. Day before yesterday the price of 10kg bag was 500 and yesterday they increased it to 600. Also someone has reviewed that it is not good, though I personally didn’t take the risk

Yeah, prices have increased. Especially on those VSR brand products. Anyway, I am just exhausted. Like super exhausted.

I have been getting one parcel after another as I placed over 10 orders. My room is in the upstairs, so I have to leave work, go downstairs, pick the parcel and sign. Before that, I have to instruct the courier guy my address.

To make it worse, there were different courier guys attacking me from all directions to deliver the parcel.

However, one was the biggest of ‘em all, and the guy kept unloading all the boxes from the auto while the guest in our house were wondering what’s going on.

It was that moment I truly felt like a drug dealer.

All boxes were neatly taped. The guys who did it must have the second boring job on this planet. The first worst job, of course, is to untape these boxes. And we had the unfortunate privilege to do that. In fact, I had that privilege… as mom refuses to touch any of the boxes.

So like any good drug dealer, I silently pushed all the items in one room. Then entered kitchen, grabbed a knife, back to room, sat on the floor and mercilessly cut open each box and spread the items. One after the another… in about 15 minutes.

Then, because we had some items missing last time, I asked my mom to check each and every one of them. It is very unlike us to order in excess. This was an exception.

Big ticket items like ghee and atta are essentials. Rest items like biscuits, namkeens, soft drinks, etc. were in excess. We had already got many items just last week through Amazon Pantry. And this one was a little too much.

And if those products weren’t enough, the fan designed to take the sweat away from us was actually helping those bubble wraps to swim freely. These wraps didn’t care about us. And fortunately, our feet didn’t care about them.

Then after storing as many items as possible and removing old items out of the fridge, the drawer, the containers, we took a break and made majjige using Philips Hand Mixer (cc: @ranjithsai01). It was that moment I immediately thought I should post here.

So captured the pic:

We killed those bubble wraps with our feet. Pushed them in one corner. Then we moved all the boxes in another room. And now, as my mom says, we are done with groceries and sh*t. Enough already.
