I’m actually looking for a Thomson TV for a specific Pin Code, since BBD Sale from 2nd Oct. But, the TVs that I like/want is non-deliverable for that location.

So, this time thought of changing to this TV because of the offer, but no luck.

This TV was available on and off for as low as 4K last year through BBD till Sankranti

At 5199, pretty good deal. Good for apartment CCTV kind of need, especially when no major sale going on.

Add the other usual dimer add-ons: 100 Super coins + 2% cashback in most cashback sites (I use vantage which gives 2.5% for TVs)

Slightly Off topic: Don’t have much idea about CCTVs. I need to install it for my home, local guy came and said around 18k expenditure flushed including 2 cameras hikvision 5MP, 1 HDD, 1 NVR 4 channels, 1 switch etc etc.

My questions:
1) Isn’t 18k expensive?
2) Will it be cheaper if I buy individual pieces online?
3) Any other better setup/company for my home?

I had similar situation, these cctv dealers keep huge margin for their services. Ip camera is an alternative if it fits in your requirement. And you can remotely monitor it too and use paid services for cloud backup.
