They had the exact same slabs for last month as well. In other words, they indeed promised 300 extra cashback for ICICI customers. I didn’t buy anything from Amazon SVD in March because I was traveling. So, although I am pretty sure, it would be nice to have a confirmation that we can use Pockets card/NB to avail the extra cashback. CC @VaibhavJain @1cooldesidd

By the way, Pockets virtual card works just fine on Amazon and so does Pockets NB. You just can’t use the pockets VCC for buying Amazon.in eGCs and other items with the same restrictions.

For your 2nd edit: Now that we have at least two confirmed cases of people receiving 500 instead of 600, I am sure many dimers would face the same issue and this discussion would at least prompt them to get the issue rectified for their accounts.

I am not sure Pockets card/NB qualify for this offer as ICICI always posts separate offers for Pockets, although I cannot categorically confirm or deny this as I don’t shop on SVDs.

Yes, nowadays, they do specifically mention Pockets wherever it’s eligible. But I doubt that they are distinguishing between netbanking transactions from a Pockets account and netbanking transactions from a regular savings account. And since the cashback would come in the form of Amazon.in GCs, unlike other ICICI offers where they credit the amount to the account directly, I am pretty sure this would work.

I am sure some dimers did try paying via Pockets for the SVD in March. I hope they will come forward and clarify whether ICICI Pockets netbanking transactions were/would be eligible for the extra cashback or not.

I used a friend’s ICICI DC to place the order.
But the additional 300 would be added only by the end of next month, right?

If I pay 2100 INR using ICICI Debit Card and 900 INR using the previously received GC, will I get 600 INR gift card or 900 INR gift card? I hope I was able to explain my query well. Thanks!

Nope. Since 900 payment is not by ICICI. Amazon might caculate it as 600+200 , but not too confident about that.
