Bad screen, bad contrast, larger size than others, bad color gamut, bad color accuracy, bad Webcam, distracting predator logo at bottom, bad battery life, runs very hot, bad placement of trackpad. And in india – bad gfx (1050ti instead of 1060).

Now I wonder are they really disposing off this laptop and hence this deal?

Seeing this thread I know for sure most of the people posting negatively are just butthurt they didn’t buy I guess and lol bad gfx 1050 it’s 1050ti dimwit and show me any other laptop with 1050ti at 50k. One of the best deals of flipkart so far this sale imo. And haters please don’t bother commenting if you only have negative things to post.

Good battery life.
Very responsive because of SSD.
LOOKS COOL
Quieter than most gaming laptops.
Gets hot but not unbearably hot.
Graphics card can handle most modern games @ 30 fps+ @1080p @high-ultra settings

One suggestion if AAA gaming, ADD 8GB extra RAM.

I bought I7 for 50K (with exchange, and I didnt had SBI card), Like most of you I am concerned that may be I made a bad choice, but again the risk of buying pretty much anything. yes the screen is sub-par, but I wud take this over a TN panel any given day. for those ppl who are complaining on the screen, what you use? I doubt most of ppl dont even know that they might be using a TN panel. but yeah how many of us are using a great IPS panel with 144HZ refresh rate.
regarding configuration, companies do tend to change the configs per region/country, yes in US this comes with 1060, but in India and along SE Asia it had models with 1050/ti, and god yes 1060 is way powerful than 1050ti, at least 25-30%, but for 50k I paid I am happy with this and I wudnt pay another 30-40k(if you import or get it from usa) for just 1060, I am good.
I have been gaming on laptops for the last 10 years and used 2 laptops (both dell vostro and xps) and both still works, older one is 10 and younger one is 6 yrs old. I still play dota and wow on the xps one, it runs the game in the minimum settings with out any hitch(personal preference here I like to play the game in min setting as high n ultra setting with all the effects makes my eyes go dizzy)
first time I bought a acer and that too in India, yes I am concerned, but I took my chance, I dont think its a refurb, thats too of a risk and bad public rep for flipkart if they do , especially in a tight battle with Amazon, and I believe Flipkart is way more trusted then those of the third grade websites. I bought One plus 3 last year on Flipkart at 17.5k and Its been 9 months and I am happy i bought it, its working great and never felt like its a refurb, but I may not know, but I dont care as long as it works.
if something goes wrong after warranty, thats a problem with pretty much every other electronic goods not just with this laptop, and god I hope I dont get a lemon out of this.
coming to i5 v i7, its personal preference again, my bro ordered i5 for me, than I thought I can get the i7 with same price(after exchange) so I made him cancelled and placed i7, ideally I wud have liked the i5 for 38.5k, but it didnt worked out, as my risk wud have been way lower with 38.5k than a 50k, but its still a risk and I am fine too.
the reason my 6 yr old xps laptop with a forgettable gfx still runs wow and dota is coz of i7 in it. as both games are more cpu oriented than gpu. and i7 have more raw power than i5. i5 will become a bottle neck in future early than i7 thats for sure, and for my set of games I need i7 more than i5, but i wudnt pay 10k for i7 if I didnt needed it.

I dont have high hopes on this laptop, I wud be really happy if this lasts atleast 3 years, anything after this is a welcome bonus.

In India, gtx 1050ti laptop in 59k is a great deal. In US, at this price you can get gtx 1060 laptop. Good deal those who got it for 59k.

1060 in usa costs 75k in INR with tax (1049$ + 100$ tax = 1149$ * 65 = 75k INR approx) i dont think 1060 is worth for 15k, as both 1060 and 1050ti will get obsolete in next 2-3 years

This was an amazing deal for people who cannot get a laptop from the US…atleast a 20k-30k discount. For ones who can get a laptop through friend/family etc this was still a nice deal(given that you are a semi-serious/casual gamer and don’t mind the average display quality)….as you would’ve gotten it at the US price but with domestic warranty. But if you were a serious gamer who wanted a future-proof laptop to play the best and newest AAA titles then this was probably a bad deal…but such people would know better to build a competent desktop gaming rig instead of buying a gaming laptop.

I scored the core i5 version for 50k. Was in such a hurry that paid using HDFC credit card because SBI payment kept crashing on Flipkart. Also, stupidly missed the no cost EMI option. The deal was available for such a short time, I could not take any chances. Still, a good deal.

Amazing price. I bought the Aspire VX 15 some months back for 67k (i7-7700HQ). The Helios version supersedes that with 1050Ti and 16 GB RAM. Great price indeed.
Even now for 79k (subtract discount because of SBI/exchange) for i7, it’s helluva deal !

This is an awesome deal no matter what but it’s a joke that it’s gonna play at 60fps on Aaa game titles.

yeah, if we can get some Acer back to school or any other offer with this purchase, this will be a killer deal, especially with additional 2 years warranty just makes my purchase so good. but I doubt if this works, lets try and I will post if I get to know anything.

can anybody can clarify me about the warranty of the laptop. Can i avail the onsite warranty in india? Can i extend my warranty?

Since it has ITW and not local warranty… will i have to take laptop to the only 2 service centers authorized for that?? N after 1 year.. :/

Suggestion and request to guys with extra orders, dont cancel the orders. Give it to fellow members or sell it on olx at same cost if u want to help other Indians. There is no guarantee cancelled orders will come back in stock for same price. So if u cancel the order, flipkart will just love it as they or acer dont have to subsidise price for those many orders. So think about it. Hope u guys understand.

It was a great deal without doubt. One of the best (who cant buy laptop from abroad) i would say. I already have one gaming laptop otherwise i would have bought this.

I called up Acer and checked with them fr the warranty
ITW warranty is an addition to the domestic warranty.
So the laptop also has domestic warranty and you can extend the warranty to a total of 3 years , with the first year being ADP for 2499

1800116677 is the number , i asked about the laptop model and told them i purchased it from flipkart and it was mentioned on flipkart it carries ITW warranty.
They told me that ITW warranty is an addition to the domestic warranty of 1 year and you can call them within 15 days of receiving the laptop for warranty extention

Noo , extension is for the existing warranty,
i.e , if we pay an additional amount of 2499 , we get warranty for 3 years (2 years extension ) and the existing 1 year domestic warranty changes to ADP warranty – Accidental damage protection
