Handling charges (varying) + platform charges + surcharges (on blinkit) + various membership passes. So many ways to make money by providing essentially the same service. It's almost as if it should be considered a privilege for consumers to shop on their platform.
Every brand wants their platform user to purchase their memberships , at lower prices or at higher prices so that customers will only buy products from their site as they already have the membership
Same goes for swiggy , they provide membership at lower prices to new accounts or to old/inactive accounts(like mine having the option to buy swiggy one at 10rs for a month)
