I have an ancient nexus 9 which is now spluttering and grinding towards becoming scrap metal.

I need a decent 10 inch tablet,  which also doesn’t burn a hole in the pocket. Won’t use it for gaming, just general work and streaming.

Since iPads are expensive,  that’s out of the window and I’m only considering Android tablets.

I was looking at this -
http://dl.flipkart.com/dl/lenovo-smart-tab-m10-...

but I’ve never used Lenovo mobile products before. If someone could share experiences or suggest a better tablet ( within a reasonable price) , that’d be great.

Thanks a bunch…

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 . I suggest waiting for a few months to see how the development scene pans out. Or else renewed Samsung S6 Lite is occasionally available for 20k or so. Development for it is in a fledgling state but already the minimum necessary have been covered. Samsung is more likely to deliver updates for 2 years at least than Lenovo. For S series Samsung has pledged 3 years of updates.

Tab A7 has 3 GB of RAM and is Wifi only, I see?

S6 Lite and S6 are both considerably more than the Lenovo option. Of course, galaxy series is quite nice, but a roughly 10K increase for the same features and a 0.1 inch bigger screen…dicey.
