I don’t know why but as soon as I read the OP Title having the word “pervasive” and then just a glance at the thumbnail of the video OP has posted , my mind mistook Prashant kishor as Kunal Shah of Cred…..Weird 
…..I assumed it to be his another recent interview.
So very true!
The Political came forward with it’s unique agenda comprising of it’s USPs – Abrogation of Article 370, Construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya, NRC, etc. and delivered on these promises.
The party firmly believed and declared openly that development and progress of the nation comes from big industrialists and business men and it’s not the job of the Govt.
The majority grabbed the idea and probably are satisfied with what they got.
Democracy thrives in our country and we get what we choose(vote) and we are getting what we deserve.
