it is easy to manipulate/edit a electricity bill. so they are careful while approving the edit request.
Now a days adhaar is linked to almost every thing and credit cards are often delivered to ur Adhaar adress else they may need verification at ur door step. so chances for financial frauds are increased drastically. so they are being a bit cautious.
The bill downloaded from their website, there is a QR code, u can reverify the address whether it's manipulated by looking the bill details using customer id/consumer no etc. The same bill is accepted for address updation of spouse, had it been only one person, naturally we could have doubted the reason justified by them is correct. One operator is ok with this, another finds fault. The electricity/gas bill do not reflect the complete details of address, to shorten their labour they write only main identifiable detail.
Same for me, I moved to a new place and applied for an online address update with the original scanned agreement.
Rejected after 4 weeks.
I made sure there were no errors and the address was exactly as mentioned in the agreement.
God knows what's going on.
The problem is with the individual who took the task of approving the aadhar.
Once i have applied for 4 family members with same proof - Smart card (ration card).
3 got approved and 1 got rejected with same reason mentioned by OP.
Again applied for correction with the same proof and it got approved the same date.
Use any other documents like voter card or passbook or 12 listed documents.
Same happened to my moms address change request. It was rejected 3 times and 4th time i gave 1st time document and they changed the address. They just minting 50 each time for rejection;.
Same problem here, they rejected sale deed & gas bill. Even the worst thing is if you complan also they will respond back with the same response after waiting for 1 month. Email address mentioned in the website is also not working.
yess doing now for the 4th time . lets see what happens , just charging money for updating everytime and not approving .. how many people might me loosing money and they do not even give specific reasons.
50 ka refund nahi dete kya ye log reject hone par? Kisko complain karna hota hai bina service diye 50 kat gaya
I request all of you please put up your grievance in social media. Sensitize the reckless rejection and fleecing us in the name of clerical charge, it infra n operations do not call for such huge expense. If genuine reason, don't refund, but cases that need a review shd be heard.
my document update is pending in verification stage since last year, cant reupload it again. they are asking me to update it in enrolment center.
I updated my Aadhar address with Jio Bill and got updated in 6-7 hours.
