In FY22 Adani wilmar sales of Rs 54,214 crore pipped HUL’s Rs 51,468 crore, snatching the top spot in the sector
Reported 46.2% higher year-on-year (YoY) in revenue. Edible oils contributed nearly 84% out of that.
At end-2021, the company was enjoying 18.9% share of the branded edible oil market and was ahead of the nearest completion by at least 10% points.
Both companies have different product portfolio.
HUl has vast offerings in FMCG
What do they sell?

AWL? Or HUL?
What a joke! All the adani stocks are highly manipulated

No one is talking abt stocks here
It is abt revenue and sales figures
Keep your prejudice aside and try to read what is mentioned here

Fortune is not only abt oil
But majorly oil (84%)
They have flour and packaged foods as well
AWL takes over Kohinoor brand. They acquired many rice mills in West Bengal.
good

All sorts of edible oil , sunflower , mustard , groundnut …
But personally don’t like fortune brand oils , feel like adulterated more with palm oil or likes than permitted.
Fortune atta is getting market attention because of its pricing compared to overpriced aashhirwad brand

Few months back Didi was doing chai pakoda with Adani
Now we see the result
Amdani – Adani – Aam dhani. The goal of AWL. 😛

Adani is a Trading Company while HUL is a Manufacturing Company.

Is that correct.
Is it Fortune oils are not pressed ftom seeds in adani factories or fortune atta not milled in adani factories.
All is trading in Adani and no manufacturing or milling.
Doubtful
Will try to cross check with vendors or on net about it.

naah naah they do process many packaged goods.
Maybe at-most when narcotics/ other contraband has to be exported smuggled via via from Af-Pak to US of A.. only then they might act as conduit or only ‘trade’ in them.
Rest all🙂 mostly packaged inhouse. 950ml palm oil plus 50ml sunflower oil = Fortune Sunlight refined ‘sunflower’ oil.
And THAT needs a processing and packing plant

That 950ml and 50 ml part is what repells me from buying fortune oils .
Can’t say about percentage adulteration but they are definitely inferior . I initially bought once or twice but after then avoided it .
Quality not good.

Bhai sad reality is, consumers cannot be choosers.
We are not kings for businesses, we are beggers.
The first time i closely checked the ingredients list of Parle-G biscuits.. i felt infuriated that they had the creatives (packaging photos and advertisements) with ‘milk shakti’ et al.
While in reality, they had like just 1% or even less of “skimmed” milk’s powder.
But authorities allow them to have milk highlighted!
Same way, products can claim to be sugar free or even worse.. label it as ‘no added sugar’.
One (employee of the) vendor of a famous group which sells muesli/oats and juices
once told us, thst they label/ certify their material as having no sugar or minimal sugar.
And the brand/ main company accepts the materials on mostly good faith basis.
But even the brand is aware thst during the processing, startch (or glucose) may get created due to chemical interaction and moisture variations.
Just out of old habits, our ladies initially used to buy Dynamix gher and Dhara (kachi ghani) mustard oils, ?ITC? Sundrop oil (the one with blue packing i think).
So I often still use Dhara mustard oil (old habits)
but ladies have moved on to freshly extracted Sesame (tilli), mustard, groundnut and on my force even cotton seed oils.
But since small small home-run units and businesses.. so they (even before corona) charge whatever they want.. for the fresh cold press oils.
So i think refined oils are back up.. as they give at-least 4-5 months shelf life.
and ghee is usually from a somewhat trustworthy farmer/dairy or homemade.
Packaged ghee are all made from cream (taken out in centrifuge) and not from butter.

Here both aashirwad and fortune sell at around same rate bhai, 350-360
There is difference of 20-25 rupees per bag at maximum, so won’t call aashirwad overpriced as such
Though I prefer Pillsbury as that also sells at similar rate

Bhai offers ke Baad sasta to waise aata bhi pad jata hai, 25-30% is usual discount, so getting a 10kg bag at 250 is very common.
This includes all kinds of card discounts, cashbacks and stuff.
Main thing is, alot of time and fuel is saved this way.
