Ads in zee5 & amazon prime video
Hi guys,
First zee5 shows ads for tv shows n live tv. and now after that amazon also put ads on prime video starting in 2024. in ott platform we didn't get ads & we like it but now they also put ads so what is benefit of purchasing membership.we purchase membership so we can't get ads. i know they put ads for increasing revenue. what's ur view on it

This Streamio streaming technology was new to me after reading some comments about it a few weeks ago on this forum. So I researched into how it worked.
As far as I understand, Streamio is not 100% safe. It streams content to your device from something called a commonly shared pool of files / torrents mirrored at its own servers. The stremio service will log the IP addresses of devices that accessed each of these pool files, so if the copyright holder sends a legal notice to streamio requesting logs of IP addresses that accessed their copyrighted content, your IP address will be shared with them. They then contact your ISP to hand over your home address, to which they can send you legal notice.
I am not sure if people using this service are aware of this issue.
Some would say, What if I use a VPN? Then again , to subscribe to Stremio's mirrored torrent servers, you need to pay for premium plugins, to which your directly identifiable info / payment card is attached.

yes it is pathetic.their greed is out of control but they lose customers also
zee5 locked their serials behind subscription also i guess soon hotstar will follow

Then don't purchase membership
Even though i have 2 full prime video accounts , i would like to watch pirated movies if they will give ads inbetween movies
stopped amazon prime two years ago
only using ott if getting for free else torrent zindabaad
unknowingly i got to watch few pirated movies and since then i prefer watching these decoded versions of movies/shows from these great decoders than the original prints with highest quality available in ott's like Netflix/Amazon.
For movies i rely on
So no ads for now
That's an ugly trend. No more a premium experience.
It encourages ad free piracy and it's their loss too
This is pathetic. Ads should be only limited to free tiers. The greed is slowly becoming out of control.
