I had posted a message on gsmareana back when Xiaomi started ads on their device stating it’s a bad precedent (Indian market). Consumers should be given the option to buy variant without advertisement by paying a bit more. Now it’s sad other mobile manufacturers doing the same even in high end phones.

Disable weather app. As simple as that.

Done that but still that does not mean adds will be shown on a high end phone
If I am disabling stuff I would buy a sub 20k mobile not a flagship

Samsung being Samsung

While set up your phone, you must have agreed to device personalization service. All android phones do that.
If u are so pissed of by just getting ads in couple of apps, what would u do in a closed eco system like ios when there is no freedom.
I work as a quality analyst and need to do testing on all devices, believe me or not, I prefer Samsung S series over all those pixels/iphones.
Just buy an apple/pixel device and let me know after using couple of months.

Kindly let me know which Samsung phones got Secure Element (SE) chip? Are S series phones completely ad. free?

Why even pay more bro? After you buy a phone it becomes your property. You have to right to install or see whatever you want in it. This is why in some countries the watchdog eats up these oem’s even if there is a tiny bit of bloatware.

No personalization service was selected , go to reddit and see all of the users have same issue starting from S10 series

If you dont have the device just dont assume

Closed eco is much better than intrusive adds , I am willing to trade for it

And pixel is worst in terms of after sales service so I am not buying that

Who is asking u to use Samsung pay app.. Disable it and weather too. Use another payment app like gpay, phonepe etc.
These two are not system app. Use alternatives simple.

This is a public forum

Just as you are voicing your own opinions I am saying that too

So calling others dumb based on their personal opinions makes you the dumbest

If one is using alternative apps as their own apps are add infested whats the purpose for buying such high end phones ?
One will buy 10k redmi and move on

Dont justify corporate malpractice by saying we have alternate apps

That statement holds valid when you are buying a sub par device , not their costliest device

LOL

Yea lets leave you wont get it

Some of us in general dont buy phones just for their hardware , we also see security , software exp , after sales service and so on. So we are willing to pay premium

Charging premium from customers then putting adds does not get any justification no matter what you say
