if buying new stuff is upgrading then im upgrading food everyday
The sweet spot is 2-4 years.
Irrespective of price you should keep using it until you feel the current phone is not able to fulfill your requirements or it has become obsolete.
Battery was the major culprit to change phones
The most correct option in my opinion is missing that is till when the phone is working properly without much issues.
So..... Anywhere between 6 months to 6 years.

On a serious note, as long as all of your needs are met, you should keep it. First you should find out what are your actual needs from a phone?
I always suggest keeping atleast two phones. One primary and other secondary phone(s). For my primary bank account I keep a seperate basic keypad phone which takes nano SIM.
If your required apps are working fine then continue to use it 🙂
Also contribute to reduce e-Waste which is one of the major concerns globally.
