Recharge your jio with ₹100
You get 10gb data & ₹81.75 balance
What’s better than this.

This 10gb data Voucher will expire after 3m if unredeemed. However, if redeemed it’ll be valid Till the main plan.

Is the 12GB offer still valid in case of Airtel? I tried to activate it late last month but there was no option in app and USSD wasn’t working.
Went with Idea finally. In USSD it was showing only 6GB but 12GB was credited.

What is definition of current active plan ? And what ways can the jio balance be used?
Initial jio users idle connections have never been deactivated , does it mean they have some active plan ?
If no then what are best active plans for jio ?

No those no. don’t have any active plan.
You need to have any unlimited plans like 129,149,199 and so on.
You can use the balance to recharge above mentioned plans or any other plan via main jio balance with myjio app(except top-ups like 10,50,100 etc)

Ohh..so jio has no pure data plans..it’s preferable to subscribe to hathway or local providers which has plans as low as as 500 per month and even lower which they offer to few .

Now Modi has announced high speed free public Wifis so jio and other players should decrease their data costs.

Free Wi-Fi is also come with a security issue.

I think they do have pure data plans.
I think those “Work from home” plans are 151,201&251 which gives 30,40&50 Gb data respectively along with 30 days validity.

It’s safe as long as we use https (email, banking) which one can also do on mobile instead.
For general browsing, torrents, netflix etc who cares about privacy stuck_out_tongue

Don’t blindly bet on https for everything security related. If you don’t care for privacy then that’s fine but as far as security is concerned avoid using public wifi for financial/sensitive transactions. You can use some good paid vpn(I suggest windscribe which starts from as low as $2 per month & comes with India server option which will avoid triggering banks/shopping sites automated security system if it seems user is outside of India).
