Got it installed in a tier 3 city .

Paid – Rs 2829 …. Got following stuffs -

1. 100 Mbps plan for 90 days .
2. 133 meter wire from box to installation point . (100 mtrs was free by company paid 330 Rs for extra 33 mtrs )
3. Wi-Fi Router .
4. They told i will get landline latter for unlimited phone calls .

Speed etc is fine … now the real questions -

1. Can i downgrade to 499 Mbps plan after 3 months ?
2. Is there any FUP limit or true unlimited as they says ?
3. Anything more ? (like hidden T & C)

Please share your experiences .

How did you even reach a human on the CC. Only automated recordings come and which also only tells you about Airtel Thanks app.

Applied today for Airtel..Paid Rs2829

Was having BSNL FTTH (No issue with service, except for non existence customer care, pathetic selfcare and sarkari babu attitude)
Initially started with 100GB plan..moved to 30M than to 60M plan..speed was always as promised…..

Today I changed to 589 plan via airtel app , speed got reduced / validity got increased .

Lets see what happens next .

Need a clarification from Airtrel Xtream Box users here. I already have Airtel DTH connection with 5K balance in it and monthly deduction of 400+ for some stupid plan. If I go with Xtream box now, should I have to recharge monthly? Any additional charges?

Airtel Xtreme cannot function without a balance and some plan. To view any content, even if OTT content from a non Airtel app, the box needs to be in an “active” state, which means plan + balance. If you can get the balance transferred or make it available to your Xtreme account, then, at a rate of 400 something per month, it’ll keep on getting deducted.

It is similar to TataSky Binge. you need actiave DTH subscription to watch same channes through internet.
I think it can be worked as secondary connection but no need to pay for 2nd connection.
Ex: DTH set top box is primary connection. and you can also watch through TataSky Binge or Xtream box in other TV.
I have no personal experiance but as per customer talk saying.

How is the upload speed with 499 plan?
I am planning to apply Airtel Xtream Fiber after my GTPL plan expired in 1.5 month.
