I have 7 credit cards. I have built credit card portfolio mentioned below for all my spends. I have good credit score and 6 cards are Lifetime free. My monthly spends is 20k, mostly on online. Do I need any more credit card to make my portfolio stronger?
- SBI Cashback, LTF - for all online spends.
- AXIS Airtel - for utility bills, food delivery and grocery.
- IDFC Select, LTF - for BOGO movie offer and lounge access.
- Federal Scapia, LTF - for lounge access and offline spends.
- HDFC Tata neu plus, LTF - for Rupay UPI spends and lounge access.
- ICICI Amazon, LTF - for instant discount offer on ICICI.
- YES BANK SELECT, LTF - 3rd class credit card but oldest card.

I heard amex is not widely acceptable as visa and mastercard. Also annual fees of amex is high

There is less chance for upgrade, even if I get upgrade I may not get Tata neu infinity as LTF.
I already get 10% cashback on Tata neu app using SBI card

This is called customer acquisition cost. I am using this card as primary card and paying bills on time. I use below 10% of credit limit. I have good credit score. After using the card for two years I asked customer care to convert my card into lifetime free. Customer care checked that I am valuable customer and bank can sacrifice Rs. 1000 annual fees to keep valuable customer happy. Never blackmail banks with card closure.

SBI don't allow instant discount for this credit card. Obviously, bank will not allow double dipping discount.

Yes bank has all stupid cards. ICICI sometimes allow instant discount on Amazon card, but SBI cashback card don't allow instant discount on festive sales, obviously double dipping discount is loss for bank.

If u can, then upgrade ur plus card to infinity, rest i don't think u need any other card.

They refer due to referral amount, rest offline merchant (local) don't accept that due to heavy mdr, online not much offers.
