All Network Operators changed Talk time Validity Policies Except Jio !

I have used all these SIM cards of these network operators and observed following

1 – Jio – No recharge for 6 months still SIM active

2 – Bsnl – Recharge should be done in time before Plan validity expire otherwise Main account balance gets forfeited

3 – Idea – No recharge for 3 months – Number gets Invalidated

4 – Airtel – No recharge for 3 months – outgoing barred but number will be active

5 – Vodafone – No recharge for 3 months – number gets deactivated

So currently I did recharge on all operators above got observed following

1 – Bsnl – decreased validity of Plan vouchers from 3 to 2 months & 6 to 4 months

2 – Idea – All validity recharges getting as secondary balance valid for 28 days only & forfeited after 28 days

3 – Airtel – All validity recharges getting as secondary balance valid for 28 days only & forfeited after 28 days

So to keep your number active you should recharge with any unlimited plan & you can do Rc 100 for full talk time and validity extension for 28 days and Talk time of Rs. 100 valid for unlimited time in case of multiple SIM’s !

Balance Transfer :
*******************

1 – Idea – balance transfer service disabled , 2 – Airtel – balance transfer service disabled , 3 – Bsnl – Balance transfer service active

Minimum recharges for all network operators as follows :
*************************************************

1 – Jio – New users have to do small FRC + Prime , Old users no need to do recharge but when you need just do Rc 19 , valid for 1 Day ( 24 hours from Recharge time )

Jio Phone users : Do Rc 49 when needed valid for 28 days

2 – Bsnl – Rc 36 & Rc 37 for Plan validity should be done – validity : 60 days ( no talk time value ) , Rc 105 for Plan validity : 120 days ( no talk time value )

3 – Idea & Vodafone : Do Rc 35 – 26 TT + 100 mb data ( Talk time and data valid for 28 days only – so use it before expiry )
Rc 39 – Full talk time 39 – valid for 28 days
( For best offes on your number check by dialing
121# & dial *1911# for deep balance details )

If you don’t use TT then do Rc 28 – 450 MB data for 28 days validity .

For FTT – Do rc 100 – unlimited validity for 100 /- TT & service validity for 28 days only if you plan to recharge from main account balance in future .

4 – Airtel : Do Rc 35 – 26 TT + 100 mb data ( valid for 28 days only )

Alternatively Do Rc 100 for FTT with unlimited TT validity & service validity for 28 days only if you plan to Do Rc from main account balance in future .

Always check your offers by dialing *121*2# before doing recharge .

So read above details before Recharge otherwise you lose your money

starting this month for first 7 days they processed in main balance then from 8th day they started to credit in secondary balance which is useless , I already on unlimited plan on other number , so not useful .

So all operators change anything anytime.

@syed786 those TelCos playing by the rules (thus Jio automatically excluded😝) have to give minimum 90days العدة‎ before the subscriber can be booked aa gone.

have known few operators give 15-20 days further grace after the 90days.
some (like Airtel) charge the account with 10-20 Rs. for such grace beyond 90days.

long back, remember Orange giving two years or so outgoing validity pack but im not sure if it was circle specific. it became 🤢 blehhh once Hutch took over.

in some circles, BSNL has a 730 days validity only plan and combo of 153 or thereabouts which extends validity by 365 days (gives some data, texts and cheap calling for a month too).

In case of Jio. I found that they do some kind of small recharges from there end for less validity which automatically increases the validiy of sim and sim didn’t get deactivated even after 6 months.

what about RC 245 in airtel. Balance is getting added in the main balance or getting expired in 84 days?

Community Angel Community Angel

All validity recharges are risky , so sometimes added to main balance and some  times as secondary balance , so always opt for "Full Talktime Recharge "
So Costumer care people not able to help in this as they don’t have current plan changes information .

As per my experience with 35 recharge of vodafone, if recharge is done before expiry of validity, both data and TT are carried forward. If recharge is done after expiry of validity, both data and TT get forfeited.

Please also add min recharge requirement for each sim to keep number active. Not looking for unlimited plans.

2 Voda and 2 Idea nos. with balances in the range 1.5-2k still show service validity till late 2021. While 1 Voda no. was used extensively in the last 3 years or so the 2nd was used infrequently. The 2 Idea nos. saw even less usage maybe once or twice monthly UL pack activated. Then there’s another Idea no. with less than Rs 100 balance and very little usage over the years that’s valid till late 2021 as well. Curious to know if anyone else experienced the same?

Some users getting still long validity like same for one of my friend have long validity till 2021 , so all works who haven’t used the numbers most – so little usage and haven’t availed any special free offers provided by Network operators and some users who won’t use internet that also have same validity till 2021 .

Example :
1- Airtel free 10 gb data offer – here who haven’t availed this offer still getting long validity till 2023 but who activated this pack need to recharge every month – so it happens .

2 – Bsnl old Plan users who haven’t used Internet services but have Old SIM then also getting validity till 2021 but new users not getting this validity .

my personal review -
airtel 1 year old sim – never recharged still active ..
idea and vodafone – sim block after 3 months
Jio – no recharge past 1 year , still working
BSNL – done 136 rs recharge 2 year validity
docomo – no recharge past 3 month number deactivated

Conclusion – Go for Airtel / Jio
if u prefer more data – BSNL

In this rainy season jio data speed sucks, bsnl 3G is far better currently with cheapest data price.
Unnecessarily piled up balance in jio.
Better recharged voda/bsnl

what is the connection between rain and data speed
