Amazon India cheated me!

Hello guys,

I have been cheated by Amazon India.

I had made a purchase of Samsung Galaxy M51 mobile on 24th October 2020 on Amazon India. I had confirmed with their executive about a free screen replacement offer before making the purchase. I was given the confirmation of the same on call as well as email. I went ahead and purchased the phone. I did not received the offer after 2 weeks. So I went ahead and wrote to Amazon about it. They confirmed with me again that I’ll receive the offer soon. They have stopped replying my emails about the same from a month now. It’s a clear case of fraud and cheating. I am attaching the screenshots as proof of the same.

I have waited more than a month and tried my best to get support from Amazon. I have failed in that and it leaves me with no choice but to raise the concern online in order to get my issue sorted. I will appreciate the support of DesiDime members.

You must have received this offer while checking out itself that’s this amazon cc is making you go round and round.
Try to escalate this issue since you have relevant screenshots now.

Yes. I previously used to write to Jeff Bezos and was able to get proper support. I think those mail boxes have been stopped.

Any particular reason why u decided to get multiple confirmations from Amazon via chat,call,mail?
There was no screen replacement banner for this particular mobile when u purchased this phone?

There was a banner as well as a line in the offers section mentioning the free screen replacement. Problem was in the T&C – this particular model was not mentioned. Therefore I confirmed with Amazon support before making the purchase. They said they forgot to write M51 in the T&C but the offer is applicable.

Looks like ..it was an error (the banner & the offers section)
& the dummy support gave you the same copy-paste response with a ridiculous excuse “ forgot to mention M51 in the t&c

Personally i feel tnc is more important than the banners and offers section
I hope they acknowledge their mistake (which they won’t do usually) and add screen replacement offer to your phone

Well I think then you already have a answer.
Their support is really dumb most of time and barely know anything.
They have promised me many times which is never fulfilled. Now I don’t trust them at all. Seems you too got victim of same.

@TintinSnowy I got a mail and message from acko today on screen replacement for my Samsung M51 order in October sale. Check your mail and message. I even downloaded the acko app and login with my number. I can see the plan is active. So finally after two months amazon activated the free replacement plan.
