I have ordered a mobile in exchange of my redmi 9 prime mobile... executive came and entered some 6 digit code in my Amazon Mobile app..but keep getting an error.."
The brand, model and IMEI details of this phone do not match with device details provided when placing the order. Please make sure you perform the verification on the device to be exchanged"
But I'm exchanging same mobile which is provided while ordering.. delivery executive don't have any idea..
Anyone faced this issue..?

No clue. Hearing it for first time that Amazon executive doing something in Amazon app. As per SOP, they just check for IMEI and physical condition based on past experience with them. This procedure is not in my knowledge.
Give phone app permission it will read imei number and generate otp
Now goto amazon ofc and get mobile else he will send return.
Amazon app is installed in the same device... executive entered 6 digit OTP multiple times...but getting same error...
Yes, this is a new thing they have added while the exchange of mobile.
We need to install the Amazon Shopping app on the exchange device and then verify the device.
Once done with that, they will check the device's condition and complete the order.
Everything is fine from my end.. Amazon app is installed in the same device.. delivery executive don't have any idea..
I had one problem,when scanned fot return by the executive the page goes back and this happened for 3 times then later i cancelled the return coz feared fo account block.
It was of 150rs a non working clock
I don't know what is the exact reason he was not able to scan the return
In my case..it's not return.. facing issue while exchanging my old mobile..
Received email after placing the exchange order..in that email IMEI is mentioned correctly...
I believe redmi 9 is on MIUI or custom rom while giving it to Amazon?
If on MIUI, you need to specifically give phone permission to Amazon app from the security app settings of MIUI. I don’t have any MIUI phone to provide screenshot but you can Google it. People face same issue with Paytm too.
any other specific permission needs to be given to amazon app
Yesterday I exchange my old mobile without any hassle on Amazon. Exchanging same mobile before 1 year on Flipkart was totally humiliation process and I had to cancel my order twice after Flipkart delivery person reduce exchange price by 50-60% for small dent. And on Amazon same mobile was taken without any deduction. Really hats off to Amazon. The exchange process hardly took 5 minutes, just checked emi number and mobile is in working condition by locking and unlocking mobile. I don't know how Flipkart can expect brand new condition for old mobile's.
Once you face real issue with Amazon..you will know the true colour of Amazon.
I'm facing lot of issues while exchanging brand new redmi 9 prime..
Called them 10times from yesterday..those dumb executives don't know anything just asked me to wait..
Just called delivery executive,he told me,he don't have the package.. called CC Support and explained the issue..and those bots come up with golden words.. WAIT FOR 24 TO 48 HOURS.
Remember it's a prime Delivery...
Both Amazon and Flipkart are equally worst...
Please anyone help me to resolve my issue.i have also exchange my redmi 9 prime phone with mi 11 lite ne 5g . but due to verification failed my delivery unsuccessful and now i have to cancel my order.
