
Amazon Order Cancelled

I had purchased a USB hub on 18th with the AMZPC500 coupon. The product was shipped on 19th. And today I received a mail from Amazon that the product has been cancelled and being returned. When I contacted customer care, they said that the cancellation is done from the customer side only. How can this happen? I do not share my account credentials with anyone. Have any dimer faced the same issue? I have been using Amazon since its inception in India. But never faced such issue, except for some cancellation that happened due to price error.

yea I have raised complaint about my mirah belle multani mitti soap but amazon replied on that the product is oos and the organisation doesn’t even have an option to reply back. What kind of flow is this that you raise a complaint but then can’t reply back and amazon itself marked it closed.
Consumer rules in india are sooo pathetic. And then they run the campaign of jago grahak jago.
I’m in a mood that instead of complaining about amazon I should complain about consumer courts. Just a waste of money and time.
We need to bring up this on tweeter, facebook .. they need to stop wasting our time and effort

Yes, recently many orders are getting cancelled.
Don’t know why .. but many of friends were saying the same thing.
I perchased RAM and it were shipped through India post 🤣🤣 so there is 0% chance for cancellation 🤣🤣
I bought a smart watch using the coupon and got Instant cashback. Today watch was delivered over all it was good deal as smart watch costed only Rs.999

my cousins order reached city today and it was cancelled then.he called customer care, they said that he cancelled it himself.when he said he did not they said ki galti se button dab geya hoga. why did they not cancel it when ordered?why wait for item to reach destination and then cancel?why waste box and courier charges?even if own courier company then charges will be there. and why do they deliver to some users as users mention in this thread?
@getready paji this cancelled order,as per them user cancelled it.it also affects users profile?

I don’t think so. Its a standard practice to shift the blame when PEs and Coupons are involved but its them who cancelled the order (Rejected orders get considered as user-returns)

Yes. CC gave the same statement to me as well. first, he said I cancelled it. then said I may have somehow cancelled by mistake. and finally said someone else who uses my acc may have done it. Seems these copybook statements are added to their handbook.

I am using account from 5+years, not cancelled or return any orders. But in last 2 months 4 orders returned/cancelled. And if payment fails, that order also showing cancelled. Will that also get counted? Will prime account have chances to get effected in such cases?

Payment failed cancellation is different. This don’t get counted as a return (only shipped ones do*) but recently amazon had flagged accounts for too many such cancellations in a very short period of time (Payment fail users ). Didn’t suspend them though, they worked normally after couple of days/weeks

Oh ok, i cancelled 3 products before shipping, one after ship, payment cancellation 2 orders includes few items. Lets see in coming days.

It’s always a been a game with these portals like who’s the smartest and they very well fireproof their system by giving small bounties as bug catchers and do never forget to cash-in those promotions while doing so.. so that they can rip the mango people in the end. They are the gainers in this whole game while playing dumb the whole time. And the end users get jacked up prices >> heavenly discounts >> flash sales >> year long sales season.. etc.. but can hardly think on how they get looted in the long run. It’s about convenience now and who cares about anything else? Someone else will try to do the same the other day and those who are complaining today will join that without losing even a flick of second.. it has been proved very well.. over and over again with time!

Lol.. those dumb replies did crack me up, really. Yes, they are very well prepared for this.. maybe as someone said they’ve allowed it for a day or two.. just to check how much impact could this have done to the whole system as this is nowhere a loot deal but a decent one.
And the expenses you’ve mentioned there are nothing in comparison to a full fledged promotion and traffic they’ve got by doing so (must have fed up with the normal bogus sales ). It’s a neatly played game by some [email protected]$$ strategist who failed to calculate the collateral damage that will happen to them now.. after such episodes. Well.. good luck to their monopoly. They can play anything they want now.. till some other shows up.
