Yes, you can. Afaik there's a 15 day price guarantee, they will issue the difference amount as Pay Balance. Just contact customer care.

Cancel/reject the order? You can mail ECR team and hope to convince them but there's no guarantee 

Edit: Price difference is only ~100.. contacting them isn't worth it

Is that even honoured? They'll simply say it is promotional price during sale, you bought before the sale... @ashb009

During a sale if price drops, Amazon will add the difference to your apay balance. Contact their customer care. I did it twice and got the difference amount.

I bought some item during last sale. I didn’t even check that price has decreased after I ordered. Amazon themselves emailed me and gave 100 rs. in wallet.

Hi bro can you tell in detail because I had purchased one product but within one day the price decreased by 600, when I contacted cc they said to cancel and reorder but they cannot give price difference

Bro during this sale i had purchased ladder but after I purchased the price decreased by 600, when I contacted the cc they said there is no such thing to give the price difference, only I have to cancel the product and reorder it

I got Rs.125 as the price difference from Amazon automatically last week for my some Prime Day purchases and it was added to my Amazon Wallet.

On one occasion I was told the same thing. But after few days I got mail saying they are crediting the price difference. Don't know if it is standard practice or not

I contacted 3 different CCs bro all they do is they will listen all the things and after 30 min simply they are telling there is no such policy even I had explained them that during prime day sale i got 100 cashback for the same without even contacting customer care due to the price has decreased after I purchased

That might be a possibility, but a friend of mine did get the difference. But they said we will credit only after the return period is over. Maybe depends on the executive's mood

Not sure they will even honour this Price difference. Few days back, I raised issue that my cashback for Fresh was not received. They checked the concern and credited the amount along with goodwill gesture amount 100₹. 🫣🥳 Rare cases where Amazon is actually appreciable. Else you know how much backlash they get 🤣

I had contacted the customer care again but this time i said to connect me with senior, to my surprise even the senior is talking like goons very worst customer service. Very unprofessionals

If you want to take advantage of the price drop, you can place a separate order for the new size and get a refund for this separately.

Won't be cancelling the orders as I've got 300 cb on each account and also 10 % instant discount. So I got each unit for around 3000. Not a bad deal

They don't even do a 1000rs price difference match now.
Plain and simple response, cancel and reorder

He himself asked me if he should cancel the order for me as if he knew that I had got many benefits and won't be agreeing...

This is expired offer (applicable only on select products) but they did offer price compensation to select users in the recent past (Automatic*).

Wouldn't assure that the same for everyone but i got the price difference as refund (Amazon added 1k coupon for a product on Sep 30, last day of GIF) after i mailed ECR team. Got the call next day, the very first reaction is this "amazon follows dynamic pricing policy and they cannot do price match" but it took some convincing (especially quoting the previous instances of Auto-refunds) and they approved 600CB (I gave up 400cb myself because the 400cb offer wasn't active on Sep 30 😛)

I'd say it's more on a case to case basic, you must have great convincing skills.
But my friend got one Mi 11x pro during early prime members sale and when the normal bbd sale sale started it was reduced by 1k. (He wasn't even a looter, just a very normal consumer who paid for the membership in full ).
He had a very hard time convincing csr to compensate provided that the product wasn't even shipped.
Their response was a simple cancel and reorder .

I think the approach has changed on selling stuff ever since Bezos left his position. We don't see a lot of good deal and generic support is always pro seller ( under Jassy's leadership and scrutiny from our government)

I did some tallying and was seemingly surprised to see more spends on Flipkart and Tata neu compared to Amazon in recent times.

What's more fascinating is that i still have a few accounts with unused 300 cb on 3k purchase this bbd.
I don't think Amazon isn't what is used to be, atleast from customer centric POV


. Back in 2020 (post covid, when logistics was F-ed up, when i complained about one day late delivery for mx500 ssd. They were willing to compensate with  extended 3 months prime membership but maybe CSR don't have that much liberty these days
