After recharging, you go to your Airtel thanks app, then Discover thanks, then you will see Amazon Prime link(photo) in Enjoy your Rewards, click on that and it will take you to Amazon login page, login and it will be activated. Don't try on extention, and recharge this only when you need membership, because if your Airtel Plan expires and you activated membership late then Prime will also expire immediately no matter how many days were remaining

As most of u must be aware that amazon prime is free with airtel 666 and 999 plans for prepaid customers. Check ur Airtel thanks app. My query is what we get after 666/999 plan .. a code/coupon for availing amazon prime membership?? And can we use that code for extension of membership?? If anyone tried then pls confirm...

I think I tried once, but validity was not extended
Disclaimer: Have never personally tried complimentary Amazon Prime given by third-parties (TelCos, others). Or for that matter, even the free trail, which Amazon itself gives in India. Only once we tried the freebies in Australian site.

In so far as I know, the complimentary subscription pack is offered via a proprietary link oe in-app purchase.
Thus, 'extension' of an existing subscription depends upon Amazon. If you redirect to Amazon site and login into an account with existing subscription ... I do not think that you would get to 'activate' the complimentary Prime.
Unless that is, the existing Prime lapsed.
Meaning: Your existing prime subscription in the account ID# A1B2C3D4E5 is ending on December 31, 20××.
Whereas there is no active subscription in Account ID# L5M4N3O2P1.
Then, via the in-app/on-site tap/click on the 'activate Prime' in Airtel/ Jio/ BSNL.. you would only be able to actually start Prime membership (in November), if you log into the L5M4N3O2P1 account.
.
If you do redirect from Airtel/Jio/BSNL to Amazon.. and log into account ID# A1B2C3D4E5 ... I do not think that Amazon would let you activate the complimentary subscription.. till January 01 (i.e., when previous/existing subscription has ended).

It is not a (manual) code, in so far as I know.

If it were so, then many in the trading section of this forum.. would be posting from the Bahamas.

Will you be comfortable sharing your Amazon account password with strangers? It's not a code
