In new budget, they have again allowed funding for promo to NPCI, so let's be hopeful...
Never charged anywhere, using this offer for about a year...
Unless someone works for Amazon or RuPay/NPCI or knows someone who does and that person has inside information on contract negotiations, your and everyone's only option is to keep an eye on https://www.rupay.co.in/our-cards/rupay-debit/r... or wait till 1st April. This offer has been (ab)used an awful lot since it has been running for so long. So, unless Amazon + NPCI want to increase their respective losses I doubt it is going to be extended.
I have been loading Rs 500 from my Saraswat Platinum DC into Amazon every Friday once a month for may be 2 years now. Not once I was charged anything extra by Saraswat. May be the Rs 59 is the annual DC fees or SMS charges.
