Amazon seller refusing pickup

I recently ordered an item from Amazon and it was delivered a couple of days ago, since then I’m trying to return it as it is under “10 day returnable” policy but the seller is refusing to take it back.

It was a seller fulfilled item and he was providing 1 day delivery since he’s from my city so I ordered from him but now he’s calling and threatening that he cannot take it back after selling and I should’ve checked it earlier.

I contacted amazon and they are raising return request but since no courier is involved and seller directly delivered the product, he is refusing to pick it back. What should I do? Amazon tells to wait for product pick up and my 5K is now stuck.

please recommend something experienced dimers.

Have all recordings and proof, and then connect with customer care on Phone. They will atleast refund your money. Seller won’t get the money so soon …

Send it through any 3rd party courier and once your item mark as delivered you’ll get your product amount as well as courier charges!

The issue here is the seller sometimes might not take delivery of the return courier when the courier tries to hand it over to them.

About 4 years back something similar happened to me on ebay. Seller asked to return item, but when the returned item reached them, they never take over the delivery. Finally the item went back and forth through the courier and the electronic item costing about 2k got lost in the system.

Same here. About 99% of the items I order are only Amazon fulfilled.

immediately stop any further non systemic contact with the seller if possible.
Contact the escalations team or ‘click on problem with this order’.
From there, either the CSAgent/ manager (team leader) gets the option to ‘write to seller’ or you get the option to contact seller.
Keep doing so every 14-15 hours.
.
As per rules A2Z Guarantee claim can NOT be filed unless there is ‘no response’ or ‘no proper resolution’ from seller on at-least two (or one?) such e-mail/s (sellers get buffer of 48-72 working hours for each message which the Cx sends.. or the CSA sends ON BEHALF OF the Cx).
.
So keep check buyer-seller messages section under ‘message center’ or your e-mail account (if there is a registered e-mail address on Amazon)
.
Frankly, for small/ useless orders.. not worth to waste the A2Z limit [only 70 or 71 claims (per account) are allowed, right?].
If even with EasyShip orders (Delivered by Amazon orders) when they refund without pickup, then they obviously also help for completely seller fulfilled items too PROVIDED ONE IS NOT DOING SO ON FLIMSY GROUNDS and obvioysly the account history/ health matters too.
..
It is surprising though.. that you could did not get help from Amazon support.
Are all calls going to the vendor operated call centres of theirs or you contacting chat agents? (In voice contact, it is easy to know. If person is in office, or from Bengal, Gujarat, Odisha, Ranchi, Nagpur, Lucknow, Udaipur, Mohali, Chandigarh, M.P., some Jaipur hiring, Assam.. then mostly it is a go-site ⚌ not Amazon Development Center Private Limited but Daksh-IBM, Wipro or who-ever).
.
But even then, if they take calls under escslations ‘skill’ (at-least Rj and Gj) then they DO have more knowledge and rights too.
Try 180030001593 but officially it is only for ‘login and security’ escalations or.. / https://is.gd/stats.php?url=anant2020 / https://is.gd/stats.php?url=hema2018 for normal escalations (can request for regional languages like Hindi, Tamil et al. If Ingleash you not want).
Since mid-2020, e-mail support is practically vanished for AmazonIN. so that is a fluke, if you try (and get actual help from e-mail support).
.
Poll ID code can be got from any survey link’s URL received in SMS/email or within message center. (Please do not use the poll ID from the HMD link of any good agent. Certainly not if the link was within previous 7 days. The Howz My Drive link’s Yes and “No” impact their weekly performance ratios.. something called PRR).

I am not too sure myself, as to WHAT (if any) is the issue with the order item/s. If you are simply using the ‘i have changed my mind’ reason (or the agents think that is what it is and the future agents see such previous annotations on one’s order) then obviously.. one might think of it as FLIMSY reason.
(I am unsure of what you meant about delivery timelines, but if there is registered e-mail on account, do check the order confirmation e-mail. Else ask the CSD agents or check the order confirmation nessage in the ‘message center’ https://amazon.in/gp/message whether the order had GDD or it had EDD. For Estimated Delivery Date orders, no use throwing tantrums and i doubt that completely seller fulfilled orders would have Guaranteed Delivery Date… “unless” there explicitly was some expedited delivery option available and chosen whilst placing the order. And the same had/is documented in the order confirmation message.

Once I Ordered Seller Full Filled Product But I Got My Refund From Amazon…

back in 2013-14 and thereafter when Rhytm House was still around😔 https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-34971764 theirs was probably THE ONLY seller whom Amazon allowed to have/give COD facility DESPITE Mehmood Curmally never wanting to stock any inventory with them.
Of-course, COD was usually for the Bombay region and suburbs only.
But from what some of his staff told/ claimed, as a new site in India and with focus on books and disk media, it was Amazon which convinced Curmally for onboarding.😉 [ i mean geez once at the bill desk queue, Ashutosh Gowariker (actor turned film director) was just behind me… and even the staff there were playing it cool. Nobody took much notice, as if it were a routine affair. So why would Mehmood Curmally bother for Amazon back then. 😉yes😉 i did offer Mr. Gowariker to go ajead as he just had two items in hand.. it was just a pretext to do some small talk with him. He politely declined. Waited till i checked out]. Incidently, Dhirubhai Ambani too used to play it cool at Maker Chambers – IV, while in queue for the lift. Or that was so on that occasion when my…
.
So the point is, not all seller fulfilled order experiences are bad. At times even small book orders were sent (by various sellers… even smaller ones from Benaras, Poona) using FedEx.
(even the reverse pickup in one case was FedEx and i literally called them to check why they booking so much overall ‘loss’. it was humbling snd indpiring to note the answer. they said it is oksy, we are trying to grow organically and by delivering good customer experiences. as in, no fake feedback from friends or family accounts. the 5-8% returns or charges from Amazon on various pretexts can be borne.)
I apologised for negatively impacting their returns ratio and agsin offered that may be i can cancel the return and they can simply settle the thing outside Amazon system (i even offered that the loss of commission paid to Amazon too can be deducted from my refund which they manually process outside Amazon)… but the person simply kept their dignity and went on to reiterate that they wanted to be known as a vslued business and one with professional but friendly policies.
He took the loss😔 of to snd fro shipping, plus Amazon squeezing their share plus plus the negative impact on the seller’s “return’s ratio”.
Did not once mention that give us good seller rating.. but that was the first time ever on AmazonIN that i gave 5 stars/ full rating.
