Need one help from users of amex platinum travel .

I'm planning to spend 4 lakh per year  and ask amex to waive of fee.

what offers does generally give on asking and how much they waive off ?

Also which is best time to ask ,  should I pay fees and then ask to waive off it ?  or ask in last month before paying fees ?

Amex uses lot of data points for customer profile analysis, so what works for others may not work for you. Better to get confirmation from customer care directly when you want fees to be waived off, just don't spend on the card based on something which is not guaranteed in future. Use the right card which makes sense at current instance of time.

% return depends on what u use MR points to redeem.

i already told how many Mr points u get ,do your calculations based on what to want to redeem them for.

Just called for the same. Last few years I had been getting it waived off for 5000 points. This year they asked for 10000 points.

Call the Cc. If you have good track record of payment they will either waive it off or give MR. I have personally done this and got Mr.
