Fellow dimers can someone confirm in which month axis charges renewal fees for its credit cards? Actually my axis airtel card was due for renewal and was planning to close it if it isn’t converted to LTF but was in impression that fees will be charged in 13th month but to my surprise it was charged in 12th month statement itself. Now can something be done about this?? Can they reverse annual charges upon requesting?

They may reverse, try and request.

If you spent well, say that you being a valuable customer request for refund of annual fees.

HDFC and SBI do that at times.

Actually my spend on this card is pretty low around 50k in anniversary year and because of that thinking for card closure

Just call CC and tell them you want to close.

They will reverse the annual charges with some condition like spend 10k on next 90 days and call us back

I did the same

How much did you Spend on the card, for them it's important because if you don't spend that much then they'll say that you are not a valuable customer for us
