Alternatives will be costly.
There is amul lactose free milk, 25₹ for 250ml
Lacno milk powder
Check almond milk or powder from various brands

Amul has lactose free milk.
Try Bigbasket.
Greek yogurt is also good for people with Lactose intolerance.

One suggestion, check if he is really allergic to lactose or not, its not very common in India. The best method I know to check is if he reacts to curd (technically yogurt, but is called curd in India). Even I thought I had lactose intolerance, but came to know later that I was allergic to a specific milk brand.

Actually the bloated feeling and stomach upset happens only in early morning (when having Aavin toned fat-free milk) but not incase of having the same milk in other time of the day till evening.
Issue got stopped when not having any milk products in morning. So hope its because of lactose intolerance.

IBS is the more probable cause than lactose intolerance.

Solution?

Bhai yoga and Ayurveda can fix that. 🙂🙂🙂 Allopathy has no cure for the condition. IBS is caused by lifestyle choices. We change it, symptoms go away.

Does the person take any medication or vitamin supplements in the morning after milk or with milk? Because certain vitamin supplement have this effect when taken with or after milk.

No medicines (even not taking any vitamin supplements) till breakfast.. ! Only having milk at early morning makes stomach upset and if avoided there’s no such issues.

Okay then you this may be the case of partial lactose intolerance. Drinking milk empty stomach may be the cause. Try drinking milk after having solid food and very slowly.

No try drinking regular milk only after having breakfast. And then slowly take the milk and see if it changes the feeling. Otherwise you can have lactose free milk or almond milk. I am just suggesting, I am no doctor. If situation persist you can seek expert advice from a gastroenterologist

Lactose intolerance or even partial intolerance occurs when milk is first introduced say 6months to 1yr of age.
Mother’s milk excluded
