Any possibility to request airline to reschedule ticket by a day

Hi all
I am flying air Akasa on my return from Mumbai to blr. It was a connecting flight as I land from johanesberg on 25th march on air Seychelles. Now air Seychelles has reschueduled and new arrival is 24th itself.
This makes my stay on Mumbai of 24 hour plus. I tried through akasa but they refused and price for changing flight is higher than fresh booking
Is their any possibility, medical ground or something ... Just a far shot

Possible only if all connecting flights are in the same PNR, then the travel agency may provide an alternative option without any extra cost subject to availability. You should also be provided an option for an alternative flight to the rescheduled flight or full refund

Check with Air Seychelles why they are rescheduling the flight ? Ask them to provide accomodation in 25th flight is possible. If not Ask Air Seychelles to compensate for loss. If they are agree to provide some monetary compensation you can use that for stay in Mumbai
