aPay ICICI CC not giving cb for tax payments now?

Did 400 test txn on 21st, merchant CBDT gurgaon, didn't receive any cb/rewards as per the app...

Paying tax through CC days are gone? Atleast this card was giving 1% and we could utilize free credit period, considering 0.8%+gst as fees...

I have SBI SClick with gives, but no real gain, also have IDFC select but that has 99+gst redemption...

So now shall we move to SBI DC for tax payment and secure atleast 0.25%?

SC Smart CC gives 2% CB on tax payments upto 1k CB per month so per month max tax payment should be 50k or less to get CB as above 50k on any online transaction gives no CB.. offline is 1% CB upto 500 CB per month so 50k max...

Are you positive they stopped? How much you have to pay?

Why don't you pay with simplyclick(1% however useless)

pay the card with hdfc plat or millennia and actually get 1% cb.

Or keep the card bill less than 7.5k and pay through mobiqwik fullpay and get 1%.

Yes, had thought along the same lines... some say idfc shall give 1.2% and higher after 25k cumulative, but redemption fee hurts returns unless a large txn is made...

Anyone aware when Amazon Pay ICICI has changed this policy and where they have mentioned? For me they are not giving reward for a December txn as well

@Agnivo007 you paying advance taxes with sbi simply.click cc right?

I never used this cc for adv taxes, just thinking to use in future.

* 1.25% Rewards.
* Milestone vouchers, probably I should get 4k GV on 2L spends
* 500 + gst annual fees reversal.
* Will pay using HD.FC plat dc 1%

Since currently most ccs have stopped rewarding on government taxes, the above scenario still seems good value back.

Are the points correct and all applicable?

Yes except for 1.25%. 1.25% is only for redemption via vouchers like yatra, amazon prime.

1% if you redeem amazon gift card.

Still a better deal considering the charges for using credit card is only 0.944%
