So one can source from others or can share his.
This way one can avail offers and another can fulfill his milestones or earn some rewards.
In short win win for both.
Do you help or take help from others?

Same is happening in dms as well ,not everyone is same, so if one can have trust or comfortable in a way then help can be given or taken.
Some platforms / concepts are build on this issue, like karma level, yapper etc
I do when the opposite person pays up-front and agrees to not save the card on e-commerce site.
How do you even know that he didn't save your card?
My friend used my card multiple times in a month on Swiggy after saving my card. Basically it's a one tap payment.
I don't know that he saved my card until I got the bill. However he paid all the amount. Basically he don't want to ask OTP everytime he ordered food.
Edit:
For people still unable to digest the OneTap feature payments. Here is the demo.
I place orders using my cc on behalf of dealer if he pays up-front.
better avoid. rising issue of banks freezing accounts.
How bank freezing?
If u pay my mobile recharge ur account get frozen🤔 didn't get. Can u brief?
oneway this can be worked with
Terms
1. Payment upfront
2. take teamviewer/ zoom access and login to website in the person providing card (but websites which supports OTP login preferred, and using Incognito mode is preferred to avoid saving login) when entering Payments page, just disable screensharing and enter carddetails and resume after returing to OTP page/ on successful transaction page.
This ensures the card details are not shared with the other person and OTP login in Incognito ensures that account details are not shared with the other person.
THIS WORKS ONLY ON TRUST - so better deal with persons with good karma and based on transaction amount better deal over whatsapp, just to avoid misunderstandings which happens due to delay in login to DD (not everyone turns on notifications and few may use web page and no notifications for messages)
Some people are comfortable on sharing theircard, some are comfortable only by ordering by therselves for you. Some are comfortable in taking upfront, it's all about trust.
Ways can be many..
It's tricky but You have to trust someone whom you don't know to fulfill the milestones.....
Yes, I always recover my card's annual fee by sharing my card with my friends.
Apart from this they also give me additional commission of Rs 200 to Rs 300.
How your friends are giving you commission man?
My cards literally save 5K to 10K on every sale for my friends. I get headache in return.
Like do you ask them for commission or they just give it to you?
Nope.. Never. Can't trust Internet Strangers at all.
Even if they gonna say that they wont save the card details... how you can be sure?
You already shared your CVV and All they need is OTP and
......when it comes to buying something from companies who operate outside India... they sometimes don't even ask for OTP.
CVV is enough to make such transaction.
Its never a Win-Win situation.
NEVER EVER TRUST ANYONE WITH YOUR CARD DETAILS
Hope you know the basic precautions.
Is there any app where I can share my card and earn points and person is willing to pay upfront?
Try yapper kind of portals then
Its ok if its instant off.
Not ok if its cashback offer
Payment should be upfront and no-hassles of cancelling/returning the product
Think both ways, karma system (not full prooff) but is a trust meter one has.
You should only share your card details with your closest friends whom you truly trust.
Your other friends should not even know you have credit cards .
Basically it is trust. Closest friends can also be made online.
Alternate title : are you interested in receiving IT notice
Totally wrongly meaning derived from it.
If u stay in ur spend limit and have nothing to spend and u want to achieve annual fee waiver milestone then u can help someone else with ur card.
Just like u do for ur family members or relatives or friends.
Risk hain toh Ishq hai ❌❌🔞
Risk hain toh maut hain ✅✅☠️☠️
No never
Card share and cvv otp par trust kaise kiya ja sakta hai.. maybe ok if someone order on ur behalf
Interesting, maybe I'm more trusting than others and shared just not cards but funds(crypt) to friends(online never met across countries) and somehow never got scammed(lucky maybe), eventually lost all money(my luck) but made friends for life, one is my best friend now and I share all personal life problems with him(crib max).
One thing I do/can do for cards: 4 of us college batchmates have among us hdfc, sbi, icici, bob(no fancy banks) and as we know we are all IT people, we keep it secure among us.
Usually I don't ask for/use other people's cards but I do help others get a discount or deal with my cards, IF and only IF they pay me in advance. Because the need is their and I am helping out without taking any commission so that's the least they should do.
Yes, you reap what you sow!!!
Waiting for the moment when UPI Id of cards can be used.
It would be very much easier and comfortable then.
Also platforms will be flooded with helping hands.
But it will be safest means to help.
Just share UPI of card, and help them getting card specific discount and cashbacks.
P.s. karma, joining date, reputation enhances trust in both helping hand and buyer.
Only close friends and family. I will never share it with anyone else no matter what.
Yes, with friends esp for SBI card because I don't have it and most offers nowadays come with SBI during sales.
usemycards.com... this site already running their business on this idea
From the comments so far & my exp, the consolidated info is:
- Never Ever Share your Card Details.
- Ask for an Upfront Payment.
- Instead of sharing CC details, ask the user account login details and upfront payment and make the payment by yourself.
- Or proceed to order from your account(Amazon, Flipkart etc...) incase of no upfront payment. You will have more control over the transaction deal.
- Check the Terms and conditions in detailed.
- Be careful with Cashback deals, forward the cashback only when you receive it and please remember the monthly limits of cashback on your card.
- (Not Sure) There seems to be GST on cashback. So please take this into account.
-
Again EMI offers, know all the charges before hand. Make sure the EMI is paid on time. Have seen good number of cases where owner of the card ended up paying the EMI.
-
EMI and cashback is a dangerous combination. Understand from where you recieve cashback. You may receive cashback from the following partners
-
Brand : Samsung
- Payment Gateway: Pinelabs
- Merchant: Reliance Digital.
- Bank: ICICI
- Card: Visa/Rupay

Would book on behalf on my friends sometimes , with out sharing card info.
No
I Will Share Card Details With The Closest Family , Will Share Otp Only After Confirming With All Relatives In The Same House Hold (Never Trust Single Person Words). And Will Also Check If The Product Comes From Flipkart/Amazon WareHouse.
Will Take Extra 150rs From Them... After The Transaction Is Complete , Will Order Card Replacement.
Nope. I find it hard to trust a random person online.
I have ordered items on behalf of my relatives friends and relatives though
what if there is an app which lets you do the same, without sharing your details?
A QR code is used so its safe, secure and the offers can be availed.
Woth qr how will u put ir card details on a website say Flipkart to get some discount?
Card sharing is very risky done 1 time here on dd with 1 user but still it seems risky to me so not going to use card sharing in future but placing orders on behalf of someone is much safer than card sharing
So sometimes placed orders on behalf of someone
