Havent been using the ace card much since getting the SBI Cashback card few months back. Anniversary was coming up and had to pay yearly charges, so sent email to axis support and they closed without even trying to do retention. I guess with so many cards in their portfolio, they dont have much time to call people to stay. They would rather spend time processing fresh new applications.

I have LTF Flipkart axis card. To break even the 590 charges on ACE (considering Flipkart axis gives 1.5% compared to 2% on ACE), I need to spend 1.18 Lacs on the card. last 2 years I held, I spent less than 1 lac on the ACE.. so not much use for me.

Had seen an ace in my axis app.
Even offline purchases nowadays is so miniscule, probably a LTF axis FK will trump over a paid Ace. All online txns are handled currently by sbi cashback, 5% till it gives. Luckily a LTF Infinia gives 3.3% on offline purchases, don't bother much with 2%.Well played @akki4554 . Maybe SBI will devalue in future, same what axis has been doing.. so can't hold an paid card thinking that it might come to mighty use 1 year latter.

Any reason mentioned?
"it does not meet the internal criteria of the bank."
They had denied me Diners Black also couple time but finally budged and upgraded. I guess I just need to keep trying every few months

Axis has already made uturn .gpay cashback is stopped as Bill payment is not working on axis Ace

I have no hopes of getting any new sbi card because of my insistence on not doing any kyc based on aadhaar not to mention sbi card has proved itself to be even worse than axis support & that's saying something. Millennia is indeed as good as ace for paying electricity bills currently but again that is a loophole. Ace main point since the beginning is 5% cb on bill payments via google pay so it is most likely this feature will never go away even if some limit is placed on max cb(which should be fine for any genuine user). I also don't expect ace to be given as ltf as long as 5% cb is unlimited.
5% cashback is gone. Just received Ace card last week, may be it's only for old users but customer care told me gpay is stopped.
I have closed axis select credit card they offered 7500 edge rewards still I denied they closed the card immediately.

As long as it is "written" on credit card website & its T&C then it is there.5% cashback is gone. Don't spread rumours. It's still continuing. Intact gpay is now giving the card to many many new users.
Can we get Axis Ace card LTF?

That's your usage bro, in a typical mid sized home with 2 ACs & geysers in Delhi-NCR the typical electricity bill will be around at least 4-5k in summer & 3-4k in winters.
Does this really mean the CC has been approved and the card will surely be dispatched soon?
The SMS content:
"Congratulations, welcome to Axis Bank Credit Cards! Your Application for Axis Bank Credit Card is approved. The card details will follow shortly."
If the answer is yes to the above question, then how much time does the Axis Bank take to dispatch the card?

It's not a rumour. Soon it will be for all users. I have just got my Ace card and its not even working on first bill payment.

Your acc/txn has been flagged as "commercial misuse" which is obvious by the 29k electricity bill.

You sure this SS is related to Axis ACE card? The error clearly says transaction value exceeded bank limit and then there's UPI reference too (Many banks got 20/25K per transaction limit)
getready wrote:Yes ofcourse.do you want to see my credit card to believe.well you can ignore. The last response I got from axis is that tokenization is stopped so may be it's for new card. Your money has not been debited
You've exceeded the bank limit for this payment
Retry with a smaller amount.
Check UPI limit per bank

What is the parameter of commercial? Is there any such thing mentioned in card tnc
?
No bank mention anything other than "commercial usage on retail cards not allowed". Many ppl not able to pay more than a certain amt electricity bill on google pay using ace card. If there is no limit issue from your side then axis/google pay has put a limit on your card/acc above which you won't be able to pay electricity bill on google pay.

590 is not a big amount to pay for this card.
Axis is better than SBI, u should have retained Ace card, SBI may take U turn any day
