Axis Ace card issued...

Here is the sequence of events:
Tried to apply for Axis Ace online through bank website on 27th Jan, but on last page while selecting the card Ace option wasn’t available….Sos didn’t submit the application.
Contacted Axisbank support on the next day (28 Jan) through Twitter. Got a call back by noon. The lady explained me and assured of Ace Credit Card. Next I asked about documents…As usual she said Aadhar is compulsory. I denied and made her aware that it’s not. Aadhar makes their life easy as the take biometric authentication at doorstep. I insisted to process my application manually (paperless only, but the say manual option).
Next they arranged a guy same day to process application who visited around 6pm.
He filled the form in his mobile App & all was done paperless. I shared Photos of PAN & Drving license. I checked each and every field he captured and option he selected/unselected.
GooglePay takes compulsory access to your personal details as apart of agreement….FYI.
The form was submitted on 28th Jan through his app. I got application id starting with C1 on same night.
In between i followed up with the lady who called me initially, but she said it will take week approx.
Then on 3rd Feb i got Approval SMS.
On 4th Feb i got another Approval SMS.
I wanted to check whether indeed they issued me Ace variant and also wanted to know the credit limit.
I messaged them again on Twitter and asked the card variant and limit. They confirmed ita Axis Ace card but didn’t share limit.
But I wanted to know the limit….Next i asked them last 4 digits of card and they shared in Twitter DM.
Then I sent SMS ‘AVAILBAL xxxx’ from registered number to 8691000002. Voila, it worked! I got a limit of 3L. I had showed my DCB limit of 4.57L while applying.
I also checked card balance by sending SMS ‘CARDBAL xxxx’ to same number and it showed me -588.82 (joining fees).
Awaiting to receive my Axis Ace card in next few days…..
Location : Mumbai suburban.
My brother today got a call from axis that he has a pre-approved neo card offer. He asked for ace, first they denied but than when he said that he doesn’t want any other card, they did the application and he got approval sms around 8 pm. Limit is still unknown.
I didn’t understand the part where Google pay access personal details.

No income documents submitted, just shown DCB statement credit limit as requested.

For axis credit cards(excl flipkart card), as per my experience what matters most is having an acc in their bank or having a top tier card with high limit. 3 lakh limit on axis ace is quite good, congrats.

I think it showed me all cards including Magnus etc. Not sure if the list gets filtered or not as per input data…. Cant share income details sorry

Hi, I think the mobile app was accessible after receiving the credit card. Sorry I don’t remember exactly what was required though in app for registration
EDIT: Sending an SMS “CUSTIDCC XXXX” (last 4 digits) to 56161600 sent the customer id for the account

Thanks, i got the customer id but it throws error while registering on website. Don’t want to use App as I do not install banking apps on mobile.

Oh ok. Yes I also haven’t been able to register in netbanking. It throws an error “Invalid User Credentials”

There is no way to register on netbanking for non-saving account customers. Contact them on twitter with your issue and they will set it for you from backend. After that you would able to register on netbanking.

But their letter says netbanking is one of the option to register.

For setting the PIN, net banking is not the first time solution. Just found out today. Would do it tomorrow through ATM.
Also my net banking registration was not going through earlier, now they have updated sometHjng from backend and after pin reset i will be able to register.

Today tried to reset pin thru ATM, but couldn’t go through card expiry MMYYYY thing. It just doesn’t accept…Don’t know why?
