So AXIS have a change of AXE and they approved me AXIS ACE card in a single day without any docs or whatsever just by pan+aadhar combo now i am thinking of cancelling my simplyclick, as SBI offers comes with high Min. price and YONO have no amazon for 7.25%
Its 2% vs 1.5% for general online shoping ? or am i missing something
card users pl. comment espicially upon wallet recharge scenerio
- Sort By
Nothing on wallet recharge
almost everyone is giving 5% on bill payment
mobikwik by using that cash thing
amazon on some bills (u get 20% anyway if u got rupay )
payzapp has been giving it since eons
HDFC smartpay
SBI too have some autobill registration
better wud we to pay by ola money and get 7% instead using sbi ola card
so that cant be the sole reason
what i am eyeing that this card wud be usefull if a money rotation trick comes by , as it got both billdesk payment as well as 2% where as sbi got 1.25% only (5X 0.25)
sud i be cancelling my simplyclick now as i already spend 30K on it and spending rest of 70K for annual fees waiver will incur me opputunity cost of (2-1.25)% X 70K=Rs. 525 which is greater then the annnual cost of SBI card Rs.500, but cleartrip milestone of Rs. 2000 is what is holding me on this card
consider spend on 2 lac annualy on both card
SBI simplyclick =1.25%x2L=2500(rewards RS)+4000(cleartrip)=6500/200000=3.25% profit
AXIS ACE=2%
both dont get me points on wallet ; axis may have better offer and restaurant delights;i like cashback over cleartrip;i one time thought of converting simplyclick to simplysave will need Rs. 23600 spend to breakeven the cost of 500+18% GST and after it every thign wud be 2.5% but it simplysupport mention grocery (which is online for me) and department store (for me it wud need to be apparrel ) so citi reward is better contender with 2.5% on apparrel AND dept. store.. so the question wud be the definition of "Dept. store " of SBI vs “DEpt stores and apparell” of citibank .. mrchant code is unknown entity at shops so user pl. comment on exp.
editted:cal for simplyclick profit
already for Amazon ICICI for 5% amazon so amazon shop is out of picture untill yono come with amazon again making it 7.25% with yono+simplyclick, as a matter of fact Rupay 20% is far better then all this once i had suffiecient amt of rupay cards
DO local shops count for dept. stores in SBI simplysave?
Ace is way ahead
After every transaction you get sms
In sbi no reward for < 100 Rs txn
Reward redemption only as Amazon voucher. Ace is statement
By looking at sbi statement no easy way to know which txns gave rewards
For offline no 10x for Sbi, ace will l give 2%
do ACE give 2% on <100 Rs. TXN?
sbi simplysave give 2.25% on dept stores, Enjoy 10 Reward Points per Rs 100 spent on Dining, Movies, Departmental Stores and Grocery Spends.SBI 1RP=0.25
Simply click is best for only on amazon purchases, Ace is a alrounder card. 5 %cashback unlimited on electricity and recharges .. Its a gem 💎 actually..
ACE is way better if you want to keep things simple and enjoy life. Simplyclick will make life complicated by adding complicated reward points calculation.
If one spends 2000 rupees on utility bills, per month consumption comes down to 24000/anum. Gpay incentive will give you 1080 cashback. Yearly fee can be recovered. But but, Amazon keeps on running offers like 5% cashback on adding money etc. In those cases annual charges are not charged. Take Ace only if you spend heavily on bills n stuff like that. Please choose a card based on your requirements. Cashbacks, rewards are happy coincidences. And they keep on changing offers. Same happened with sabka dulara SBI SimplyClick 🐒
I have both now,
SBI Simplyclick online is close to 3.25%(1.25% for online + 2% cleartrip voucher) if not using cleartrip voucher and selling it off at a discount it would come to approx 2.75% (1.25% for online + 1.5% cleartrip voucher selling 2000 voucher for 1500 will have buyers) which is higher than ace(2%).
ACE is primarily offline use, i didnt find any card giving more than 2% for offline purcahse on entry-level cards. and once I reach 2L milestone with simplyclick and receiving 2×2000 cleartrip vouchers, I move the online purchases to axis ace as well as I have to hit 2L annual spends on axis ace for waiving off the annual fees.
Do we get 2%cb on Axis ACE, if we pay rents using cred/nobroker/payzapp Or NPS?
Edit: yes from other thread
