t got an email from axis bank that says
Thank you for banking with us
We wish to inform you that INR 100000 has been marked as lien on your A/c no. XXXX
What does this mean? I have a savings account with them and one credit card.i have not taken any loan from them too I have no idea what kinda trickery is this.Need to call customer care tmrw 8 am but before that any one here has any idea what does this message means?

Is it secured credit card?
Don't worry..
Your amount is not debited.
1)u might hv applied for /scheduled a transaction
2) system might hv done FD (auto sweep)
+ many other possibilities., u can always get it reversed if you hv not instructed bank to do it.
Recently in month of Feb, axis charged me 2300 charges in my account... i gave written complaint to BM, no use
then sent email to their nodal officer, all excuses
then sent email to senior management, no use
Everyone replied, charges are OK and wont be reversed...
In June, i gave a written request at branch with signed forms to close all deposits, savings, and 2 cc.
Calls started pouring in from axis customer care.
Charges reversed and account upgraded
For what did they charge 2300?
4mins of silence who still feel that AXIS is a good choice for them o.O

They keep charging some strange consolidated charges every month. Added this to my new year resolutions, to get rid of this account. Need to go to another city to close it.
