Every bank charges extra on cash txn money in and out
General charges are max 2L upto 4 times free (cash money in and out) but depends on bank and account varient.
Union banks free cash txn limit upto 50k 4 times free
Axis Bank is the worst in terms of charges that why I closed their acct
To avoid charges open multiple Bank account and do cash txn according to their free limit.
U can do free online transfer after that.
Always ask bank about their free cash txn limit per month and do cash txn according to that.

For my AXIS account variant (25k AMB) statement menioned 200000 cash deposit free per month. But was charged for rs 50000 as system has changed max free deposit to rs 150000/ per month.
Union bank /Canara bank with drawl rs 1 lakh per day no charge. But depositing Rs 1 lakh per day was charged for more than Rs 50000 cash deposit per day.
HDFC max rs 2 lakh per month.
most banks 10 times the average last months balance. I do have a sacred/secret list of banks that do not charge for up to 5-10 lakhs cash deposit per month ( but all banks charge and report to IT as per RBI rule above annual limit FREE or not) . so I maintain a battalion of banks just to manage a emergency cash with drawl or deposit back in to accounts. Not earning 5-7.5% in sb accounts (and keeping cash under the matress) is a crime 😄

If u want peace of mind.... Depp3in sbi... Then transfer in any other account.... Sbi nevr charges anything even in zero balance account....

Which type account you have? Basic account ( easy access sb account) have max cash deposit of 1 lakh and above that they charge 4 rs Or 5 rs per 1000 + gst.
