Axis Flipkart Credit card application doubts

I had applied for Axis Flipkart credit card. The executive came for documents and asked for my aadhaar and pan. Also gave them fingerprint. Then asked for a nominee pan, aadhaar and photo. I gave the same of my father. Also he ticked for addon card saying it is free. I refused but they said it’s free and were adamant on ticking it. And submitted my application
My questions are:
1. What is need of nominee in credit card?
2. Any issue if i get the add on card?

Its been a month and a half and its still showing In process.
Cc are a bunch of low lives with 0 info of their product.
Twitter handle is a bot .
So there’s no way to escalate this issue even.

which is better to apply..amazon icici card for flipkart axis card..i just buy things which are cheaper either on it..so there is no preferred choice for amazon etc
Amazon icici is ltf whereas axis flipkart is 500 from second year.
So icici should be first preference
Nominee and addon: Nothing to worry. No problems.
Axis slow or pathetic response depending on luck: That could be issue.

Axis doc guy insisted with me also but I refused.
They can’t force you.
they are making fool in the name of nominee, they just want you to get a add on in the name of nominee
please anyone who doesn’t want add on don’t take one, its not compulsory
my axis doc collection guy was also giving me gyan
I gave him some back and in a minute he knew that I will not be made a fool so he backed up
In addition to taking photo of pan of nominee in tablet, he also took photo of pan in separate phone. I am worried that it would be misused. Or they might be making credit card application for my father also.

ideally the executive guy should not have forcefully ticked the add on. in the other hand there is no issue with add on card its totally free. and its statement will be clubbed with your primary card only.
The same has been happened with me last year when I applied for Axis privilege card. Executives are applying for add-on by misinforming nominee to customer. I don’t think any Credit card has nominee funda.

Most Rubbish bank AXIS Bank ever seen
First Received sms APPROVED
After 5 days, received sms DECLINED
Called Customer care and they are telling, unable to find anything!
Most pathetic customercare and USELESS PNO DESK, most unprofessional Management.
Really frustrating.
Yes, Axis cc is much below the mark. Almost pathetic and no way out if luck is not in ur favor.
With pandemic, they managed to deteriorate their level even further! Remarkable feat. 
I got the below message:
“Thank you for applying Axis Bank Credit Card. Your application xxxxx is being reviewed. Kindly expect an update within 5 – 7 working days”
Received verification call from axis today
2 applications on 2 CIBIL scores of over 800 and 850. Both declined. Wonder why.
Customer care can’t even find my application.
I checked on the website and it shows status as approved and credit limit is also shown. Is any virtual card generated like Amazon icici?

Do we get Flipkart gift voucher of 500 on completing first transaction?I did my first transaction around a week back got nothing.
If first year free then you won’t get it
